Artist, Paul Cummins, and designer, Tom Piper, bring a cascade of thousands of individual ceramic poppies to Hereford Cathedral this spring. This is part of the final year of the 14-18 NOW's a UK-wide tour of the iconic poppies.

The Weeping Window poppy sculpture will be free and open to the public. A series of special events will be hosted at the cathedral and other venues, as part of the Herefordshire Homefront campaign. More details may be found @1418now.org.uk/commissions.

The weeping window sculpture is absolutely fantastic, we visited yesterday and took some lovely photographs.

Looked even better at 8.00am this morning (Sunday), dusted in snow. My heart goes out to all those stalwart stewards who have to stand around in the bitterly cold wind in Cathedral Close.
