My question is: why didn't they wait and relocate the Edgar Street Limes to Newmarket Street when they alter the street, another big mistake this administration did was to destroy the lime trees!!!

Destroying the limes was ultimately a deliberate 'must happen at any cost' decision by a supremely arrogant cabinet, who do not accede to the requests or demands of anyone, least of all 'local people' as Cllr Price calls them (in public at least).
