Biomech Posted January 16, 2014 Report Posted January 16, 2014 I wanted to post this to show that when something is genuinely improved it doesn't go unnoticed. Whoever is responsible for painting up those blocks of flats on the A49 Ross Road (Redhill?), well done, they look really really good and are a massive and marked improvement.
Colin James Posted January 17, 2014 Report Posted January 17, 2014 I wanted to post this to show that when something is genuinely improved it doesn't go unnoticed. Whoever is responsible for painting up those blocks of flats on the A49 Ross Road (Redhill?), well done, they look really really good and are a massive and marked improvement. Are they painted or cladded? I have some photo's that I took last week so will upload them later.
Biomech Posted January 17, 2014 Author Report Posted January 17, 2014 Not sure, I didn't look that well, but they all have scaffolding on so I'd imagine cladding? Simply because it would be cheaper and less work to use a guy with a ladder and roller extension if they were just painting them. But yeah, they look so much better, so whoever is responsible - well done. (this is were we find out it was a private thing and nothing to do with the council lol)
Glenda Powell Posted January 18, 2014 Report Posted January 18, 2014 The renovations to these flats are being done by Herefordshire Housing as part of a program of works, they are being cladded simular to the flats and houses in Newton Farm and steel houses in Hunderton. I hope they make as good a job on the shops and flats above when they do the ones at the Oval.
Colin James Posted January 19, 2014 Report Posted January 19, 2014 Here are some photograph's that I took today, I have also added one to Biomech's original post.
Bill Thomas Posted January 19, 2014 Report Posted January 19, 2014 To be honest they do much better in fact these are the best I have ever seen them look. Lets hope that they modernise the balcony's and get rid of those hideous check board windows behind them.
