Hereford Voice Posted October 21, 2023 Report Posted October 21, 2023 A message on their Facebook page said; "THANKS & GOODBYE // It is with great sadness that we’ve made the decision to close the doors at Gilbies. We’ve spent 7 years serving our wonderful customers, but the combination of COVID, my own ill health, the rising cost of supplies and utilities, along with the declining footfall to the city have left us with little choice than to make this devastating decision. We’d like to take the opportunity to thank our regulars, our staff & our families for your unwavering loyalty & support. Customers with existing bookings should have heard from us this week, but please get in touch if you haven’t" Sad news to read that this famous Hereford Bar has sadly closed. Quote
