Apologises for the double take - this is only my second Post - plenty of comments - but only second post .

 

Bit of history ! The only Military Charity during the WW1 was SSFA ( No A Airman ) they were added later .Because the Govt of the day were so unprepared for the high number of deaths during the first months SSFA paid widows their Widows Pensions , otherwise they would have received nothing .

6.00pm to 6.30pm - War Memorial, St Peters Square Hereford. First World war Ecumenical Reflection

 

8.00pm - Kington. Vigil at First World War Memorial

 

9.00pm to 11.00pm - Hereford Cathedral. Ecumenical Vigil.
