Hereford Voice Posted September 5 Report Posted September 5 Two women have been fined more than £2500 after they assaulted two police officers. Carolynn Quinn aged 44 of Bridge Street, Hereford and Robynn Quinn aged 22 of Court Orchard, Fownhope, Hereford were both found guilty of two counts assaulting an emergency worker at Hereford Magistrates’ Court earlier today (Thursday 5 September). The pair were arrested and charged after two female police officers were assaulted in Union Street in Hereford in the early hours of Saturday 30 March. The officers suffered slight injuries. Carolynn Quinn was fined £1780 and Robynn Quinn was fined £780. Both fines include compensation to one of the officers. Detective Constable Jeffrey Dube said “No one should expect to come to work and be assaulted. We welcome this result from the courts which sends a clear message that any kind of assault on any emergency worker is unacceptable.” Quote
