Biomech Posted October 24, 2014 Report Posted October 24, 2014 http://www.herefordtimes.com/news/11556396.Herefordshire_Council_attempt_to_take_possession_of_Edgar_Street/ Do who didn't see this coming? It's amazing how untransparent this council is yet everyone can see right through them. Nothing but lies, deceit and plotting behind the scenes at EVERY SINGLE turn. With November 5th coming up, I think someone needs to go and burn that ******* place to the ground. Nowhere have I seen so much ineptitude, lying, secrecy and ripping off of the public. Literally putting the CON into Conservatives. Quote
ragwert Posted October 24, 2014 Report Posted October 24, 2014 I think they tried to but never got in,also HUFC have now paid the Council nearly all the money that is owed Quote
twowheelsgood Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 As I read the article, they did not take repossession or take control of the grounds. Quote
Aylestone Voice Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 It is interesting? Who at the Council tipped the club off that they would be visiting? Why did the Council not wait until, let's say, today when they would all be away at St Neots and entry would have not been resisted? Quote
Denise Lloyd Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 It is also interesting that the money appears as if from nowhere - now that the situation has cooled down a bit it does make you wonder whether this was all a bit staged. Quote
Slim Posted October 27, 2014 Report Posted October 27, 2014 Sorry. Sport does not agree with this council. Football - the debacle of Edgar Street. Rugby - the back handers to get the grounds moved. Golf - great that you can have unlimited rounds for £15 a month, however, at 3 hours a round- you will pay circa £200 parking charges. Tennis - if not for the involvement of Charles Nicholls, the council would have bulldozed the Westfield courts. As with a lot of things, this council does not care. Quote
megilleland Posted October 27, 2014 Report Posted October 27, 2014 Also no horse racing or golf at Belmont. Quote
Denise Lloyd Posted October 27, 2014 Report Posted October 27, 2014 I don't think I dreamt it but haven't the developers pulled out of the Rugby Club deal Quote
Biomech Posted October 28, 2014 Author Report Posted October 28, 2014 There's a rumour on the Hereford Bulls site that it's being offered up to Tesco. Which would mean taking it from town and moving it to the OLM.http://bullsnews.blogspot.co.uk/2014/10/offer-site-to-competitive-bids-from_27.html Quote
