Though it would be helpful to dispel the myths and inaccuracies about "PURDAH"....

PURDAH does not mean that candidates cannot post on Hereford Voice or anywhere else they chose...it means that the Local Authority Officers must be seen to be apolitical and not favour any one candidate, be seen to be doing so and must definitely not be caught doing so...
