On a positive note the work/refurbishment on the old Palace restaurant in Commercial Road seems to be progressing. Several workers there tonight at 18.30 doing painting and stuff ... Front door was open and it appears to have been 'gutted' with a new interior being fitted ...

A major high street chain has announced it is cutting the opening hours of its store on Hereford’s Old Market development which is approaching its first anniversary. Do you think the Old Market has been a good thing for the county so far?

Been down to South Devon for a few days and walked up Torquays Main Street , Fleet Walk , really surprised at the number of empty shops , shops that have closed down over the last 12 months , so sadly it does not appear that it's only in Hereford that shops have closed.

Hi Ubique, yes this certainly isn't an issue which is confined to Hereford, but how many other cities answer have been...."I know! We'll cut the city in half, tempt out many of the retailers who are already open and trading here, and leave our historic core to rot!"

Its to the right of Henryka's - what used to be Past Times. It will have 35 covers with a possible 15 more upstairs.
