Colin James
Well I will be the first to put up my hand and say that BB have done a fantastic job of clearing the overgrown bushes in Glastonbury Close once and for all. I spoke with the guys doing the work just before 8am on Friday morning and after a chat they agreed that just a trim was obviously not going to be enough and if you going to do a job at least do it right! This teams whole attitude was spot on to be fair and now we can see around the corner again. I believe in giving credit where credit is due and to be honest I cannot fault these guy's, 100% better than it has been for many years. Thanks must also go to CVP for taking my complaint to BB and getting this job listed. Well done everyone!
Colin James
This is what it looked like before the work began. As you can see, these bushes were a major blind spot
Ubique
Colin and Cllr Vaughen well done , and another well done to BB workers ........ I think that in most occupations / professions the Foot Soldiers are hard working honest people , it's , to my mind the Supervisors / Managers who are the problem . Roger
The current image on Google Street View is from 2011 I think. It shows a previous intervention was a sort of side swish to stop the bush overhanging the road ... The more drastic action seems better to me! Mick
A massive improvement indeed and an excellent job, at least by doing this job properly they will only need to trim these to keep them under control in the future.
