tommysmith Posted September 30, 2015 Report Posted September 30, 2015 I see the Council are running a survey on the Markets in Hereford http://newsroom.herefordshire.gov.uk/2015/september/local-views-and-new-traders-wanted-for-hereford%E2%80%99s-outdoor-markets.aspx Rarely shop at them myself but the streets look to be quite busy whenever I visit on a Weds or a Sat.
Adrian symonds Posted October 1, 2015 Report Posted October 1, 2015 The Truffle Market? I first thought that was a market that sold Truffles :) Then I read a bit further, I did not know the Truffle existed any more, I have not seen anything advertised about it for a couple of years now. I must admit I did not think having the retail market in high town was a good idea when the idea first came about, now I like the idea. Saying that I do think that when they have too many different markets at the same time like the Saturday retail and the farmers market the stalls make the centre a bit too crowded.
Frank Smith Posted October 1, 2015 Report Posted October 1, 2015 I like the European market days with some excellent food choices from our European friends. Some lovely bread too.
bungospoon Posted October 2, 2015 Report Posted October 2, 2015 Yes, I liked the European markets too, though not seen or heard of one for ages.
