Colin James
It is good to see The Saracens Head open again. It looked busy too to be fair.

Roger
Drove over the old bridge tonight and noticed the banner in the picture. Very welcome news in my book. Good luck to all involved!

Glenda Powell
Yes especially as the planning application had only just been passed by planning officers under delegated powers. It obviously pays to be a cabinet member of the Tory administration!.

Denise Lloyd
I absolutely agree with you both nobody is more suspicious of HC's approach to planning than I believe me on that one. This smacks of another Greenow type planning application pushed through because of who and what you know! Mind you it is a good idea but does it tick all the boxes
Bill Thomas
Still better to have this place open than closed for years.
Denise Lloyd
Absolutely Bill but it does smack of a bit of something. I expect the Treacle Mine will be the next one for some consortium to snap up and do something with.
Adrian symonds
Yes especially as the planning application had only just been passed by planning officers under delegated powers. It obviously pays to be a cabinet member of the Tory administration!. I thought this was normal in government, be it local, national or European. this is why and no offence to you, I normally take what politicians say with a pinch of salt. So much scratching of each others back, it is difficult to trust any of them.
Glenda Powell
Adrian- I have not taken offence, I am not a politician anymore but even when I was I wasn't liked by many of the councillors simply because I spoke my mind, and they didn't like a few home truths.
