Colin James Posted October 9, 2015 Report Posted October 9, 2015 West Mercia Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault which occurred at on Commercial Road in Hereford in the early hours of Sunday 20 September. At approximately 3.30am the victim, a man in his twenties, was outside the Kings Fee and BBQ and Brews pubs, when he was assaulted by four or five men. He was thrown to the floor and kicked in the face. As a result he lost four teeth. One of the offenders was described as a white man of medium build, approximately 5"9, wearing a medium jumper. The victim was unable to get a detailed description of the other offenders but saw that they were white men. Anyone who witnessed the incident is urged to contact police by calling 101 and quoting incident number 460 of 21st September. Roger Posted October 9, 2015 Report Posted October 9, 2015 This appeal appeared on 08.10.15 on the WMP website. Nearly three weeks after the event. It obviously seems it wasn't a priority press release. In fact it gives the impression is was a 'box ticking' exercise. Quote
