Roger Posted January 12, 2016 Report Posted January 12, 2016 Noticed this weekend (just gone) that there's a large pothole, inbound, on the Barrs Court side of the metal bridge. Went over yesterday (Monday) and it's got 50% bigger and deeper in a couple of days ... So be careful if you are using that bit of road! If you hit it full on there's a potential to do some damage! 1 Quote

Roger Posted January 13, 2016 Author Report Posted January 13, 2016 I reported this pothole last week I drove along there yesterday morning (Tuesday) and it had been filled. Not to any great standard but the crater is no more. :-) Quote
Pete Boggs Posted January 13, 2016 Report Posted January 13, 2016 I drove along there yesterday morning (Tuesday) and it had been filled. Not to any great standard but the crater is no more. :-) I remember there being a huge crater there about 2 years ago. I suspect it re-appears periodically as the duff repair by Jarvis/Amey/Balfour Beattie* (*delete lacklustre Council contractor as appropriate) wears away. Quote
ragwert Posted February 21, 2020 Report Posted February 21, 2020 Pot holes have appeared here yet again in exactly the same place. To my knowledge this will be the eighth time this area of potholes have re appeared Yet another indication of employing Balfour Beatty who seem to be pretty useless filling holes. ragwert Posted June 2, 2020 Report Posted June 2, 2020 Finally had well over a dozen potholes filled in along our stretch of road a few weeks back though the blokes from Balfour Beatty pothole marking team missed marking around three potholes so I made sure they were filled Quote
