Roger Posted April 11, 2016 Report Posted April 11, 2016 An unspecified reward is being offered by the developer for info about recent vandalism ..... Pics from the Estate Agent ..... Twitter Quote
Colin James Posted April 11, 2016 Report Posted April 11, 2016 That is unbelievable ! Have they got no security? These properties are up £300k in price, so I am surprised if they don't. I have shared this on both our Facebook and Twitter pages, I hope they catch these mindless idiots! Quote
H.Wilson Posted April 11, 2016 Report Posted April 11, 2016 How vile are some people, someone must know something. Quote
Glenda Powell Posted April 11, 2016 Report Posted April 11, 2016 I have never seen any security guards there. The problem is these properties are built very close to the new bridge so climbing on the bridge wall would make access very easy with the scaffolding there. Quote
Ubique Posted April 12, 2016 Report Posted April 12, 2016 Going on other comments in other posts I guess that it has to be said that this location is north of the river ! Quote
Ubique Posted April 12, 2016 Report Posted April 12, 2016 From HT Reward is £100 It appears that the builders have installed 4 camera CCTV system . Quote
Roger Posted April 12, 2016 Author Report Posted April 12, 2016 From HT Reward is £100 Bit of a joke reward really. But the damage was minimal. It wasn't like it was Beirut. Cops have closed the moan down No lines of inquiry apparently! Other than the tagging style. Why don't they just say that hey have no time or staff to look into this low level stuff? Cop precept charge has just gone up by the way! Quote
Bill Thomas Posted April 13, 2016 Report Posted April 13, 2016 The Hereford Times have eventually caught up with this story. Paul Tobin, of Riverside Construction inset. Quote
DILLIGAF Posted April 20, 2016 Report Posted April 20, 2016 Arty but Illiterate. It's spelt THIEVES. No education! Quote
adamski Posted April 21, 2016 Report Posted April 21, 2016 Ha ha Diligaf. There's some graffiti on the Great Western Way, near Bulmers, that says "to wet, to cold"! Poorly educated vandals. I don't know, what's the world coming to?? Quote
ragwert Posted April 23, 2016 Report Posted April 23, 2016 Why is this called Fryers gate?Should it not be Friars Gate. It's in Grey Friars Avenue afterall Quote
twowheelsgood Posted April 23, 2016 Report Posted April 23, 2016 Yes, I was very disappointed to see Fryers - think fish fryers. The site is near the Franciscan Friary, founded by Sir William Pembrugge about 1228. Hence the various streets referencing Friars*. To be fair, on the 1757 Taylor map it shows the area as the ‘Scite of Black Fryers’ but perhaps their spelling wasn't up to scratch. I blame the Council - they have to approve any development naming. *Turning into Friars Street off Barton Road, the street name on the left says Friar, the one on the right says Friars - as there must have been more than one friar, my money is on the right hand sign. I blame the Council for messing it up. Again. Quote

Ubique Posted January 25, 2017 Report Posted January 25, 2017 I am surprised that the HT have named this person because it doesn't appear that he has made an appearance in Court yet - I presume that he was charged by the Police and bailed to the Magistrates Court - of course I could be completely wrong . Colin James Posted January 27, 2017 Report Posted January 27, 2017 I see Paul Tobin has made headlines in the Hereford Times Totally separate topic guy's. I have to point this out because it is confusing when searching Google. I am more than happy for you to create a separate topic and feel free to mention or link to this topic but this topic is about vandalism... Quote
