greenknight Posted November 13, 2016 Report Posted November 13, 2016 Was it me or was there more of us today? Standing, watching, placing themselves in that position that matches their expectations. Why are they here? Memories of someone special, respect perhaps for a past love that drives and eternal flame between then and now. What of this group reflection? Well it is a moment,a quiet special moment, but a moment in the company of others and not in isolation. Will it always be the same? It will grow, evolve and flourish I'm sure. For as people we look to the future as well as the past.Although it is a secret, private and mindful conversation we think of our children, and we, the worry well, worry for sure. Our public parent face needs to show courage and positivity in front of our children but please be sure to mind your own well-being and share a conversation for this will mean that you are not alone in your own fears and concerns. Aylestone Voice Posted November 13, 2016 Report Posted November 13, 2016 The numbers attending have been increasing over the last few years. There are also more attending on Armistice Day itself. Quote
Slim Posted November 14, 2016 Report Posted November 14, 2016 As I was "marching", I was glad of the weather. I managed to get a look around as we left the square and proceeded back down St Owens street. There were a lot of people, made me proud. Quote
