The Herdsman planning refusal for sign.

Anyone else find it absurd that Herefordshire Council planning committee refused permission for 

the wall painted sign below?

 

 

The reason for refusal makes a shameful laughing stock of everyone on that committee that refused it.

Not in keeping with the rather EXPENSIVE cladding on the building next door perhaps... This is a joke it really is.

The bright blue Odeon signage and Costa etc is all okay though...

What about the multicoloured LED lights on the front of the Kerry, I do not see the difference here.

I too also immediately thought of Debenhams one rule for one and so on.  The Planning Committee never fail to amaze me

I have learned today that if they remove the wording and just leave the cattle it is a mural and planning is not required.
