Chadds was founded in 1929 by William Chadd, the father of the current chairman John Chadd, when he and his future wife, Jessie Etheridge, opened a small drapery shop at 41 Commercial Street. Denise Lloyd Posted October 9, 2017 Report Share Posted October 9, 2017 A Manchester based firm has purchased the former Chadds buildings on Commercial Street in Hereford. We have viewed some of the plans this morning and it appears that the units will include both shopping space mainly on the ground floor and residential space on the first floor of the buildings.
