Hereford Voice Posted April 7, 2020 Report Posted April 7, 2020 Breaking News: Prime Minister Boris Johnson moved to intensive care after condition worsens. The prime minister was admitted to St Thomas' Hospital in London on Sunday night - 10 days after testing positive for coronavirus - after continuing to display symptoms of COVID-19. He was initially admitted "as a precaution" but Mr Johnson's health has since deteriorated, Number 10 said. The prime minister has now asked Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab to deputise for him "where necessary". A Number 10 spokesman said: "Over the course of this afternoon, the condition of the prime minister has worsened and, on the advice of his medical team, he has been moved to the intensive care unit at the hospital. "The prime minister has asked Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab, who is the First Secretary of State, to deputise for him where necessary. "The prime minister is receiving excellent care, and thanks all NHS staff for their hard work and dedication." From Hereford Voice: Boris Johnson has given so much in such as short space of time to make this country a better, safer prosperous place. People of all political hues should be hoping and praying for his swift recovery. Stay strong Boris! You are one of our best Prime Ministers and your country and family need you sir! Quote
Roger Posted April 7, 2020 Report Posted April 7, 2020 Boris has looked increasingly 'rough' in his isolated videos. I never saw the point in restricting NHS care to the PM from the moment he got ill. A PM should have had permanent monitoring. Due to his important status. But he may have had that. All of this is subject to 'spin' and 'secrecy' I think. Was he left to 'sweat it out' in his flat on his own? I doubt it. Quote
Roger Posted April 8, 2020 Report Posted April 8, 2020 Why is Michael Gove now 'isolating' for a few days? All of these important people should have been isolated from the very start. Quote
