Work has already started on to expand the existing Belmont Road store into the former Bath Store unit next door. Once complete, farmfoods will dominate the small retail park.

The new extended farmfoods on Belmont Road Hereford opened today.

The expansion of the existing store into the former Bath Store unit next door has hugely increased the store size and farmfoods now dominate this small retail park taking up 70% of the units. This is great news for the local area and Hereford.

I can see a problem with the number of car parking spaces needed for their planned growth as there is no extra space to expand. With the busy vets opposite, the amount of increased traffic movements could lead to accidents and delays on the Belmont Road. Will have to wait and see.

We were in here shopping this morning. Car park was okay but I agree with Martin this could become an issue but I can only assume that there was enough parking allocated in the original plans for this retail site.
