A man has been charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon following an incident in Kington, Herefordshire on Friday.

Alexander Stone, 37, of Bridge Street, Kington will appear at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court on Monday.

He is remanded in custody.
