Good grief.

That's four, very chunky payments going out to The 2gether Foundation Trust.

I do hope they are earning that money..........

Who are Browne Jacobson LLP??? That's a new one on me.

And STILL Hereford Futures????

And a VERY hefty bar bill..... just who has been wined and dined at our expense???

Brown Jacobson LLP are a firm of lawyers specialising in health.

Yes Hereford futures why are they still getting a draw from the council coffers?

Wining & dinning the lawyers?

Just a guess on my part, but could they have brought in to advise the Council over the setting of residential home rates which has been ongoing for at least a couple of years now.  Alternatively, advising on the Shaw Homes contract?

The Council's monthly expenditure figures totalling £17,775,196.29 are here for December 2015.

The companies/services which have taken over a million pound each for December just number four and their total take amounts to £7,046,111.58 or nearly 40% of the cake.

The usual beneficiares are here.

1 Balfour Beatty £3,405,718.93

2 NHS Herefordshire CCG £1,299,667.00

3 West Mercia Police & Crime Commissioner £1,241,762.00

and I was surprised to see this company in at number 4

4 B G Brain Decorators Ltd £1,098,963.65

Where was this money spent - looks like a lot of wallpaper and paint - any ideas?

Whatever they have decorated I would imagine they go to sleep rejoicing it will certainly boost their accounts for 2015

The financial summary has not copied very well imagine the figures columnised for years 2014/2013 and 2012.

Shame this kind of contract was not given to a Hereford based company.

The only decorating contract of this size that I can think of is the Oval redevelopment  but that is not Council.  The payment has been made direct to B G Brain so it is not subcontract so that narrows it all down a bit.

Balfour Beatty have asked for voluntary redundancies within it's workforce, this could have a profound effect on Hereford, does it mean current contracts will be reviewed and we do not get what we are paying for and will it be reflected in our current monthly payments to them. :Surprised_32:  :Surprised_32:  :Surprised_32:  :Surprised_32:  :Surprised_32:  :Surprised_32:  :Surprised_32:  :Surprised_32:

BB have now taken on the rubbish collection so perhaps they have decided to get the ones parked up drinking tea or leaning on a shovel working a full day.  No I don't think the money paid to BB will be reduced not in a million years there is only one way that will go

Denise do you mean the weekly collection of black and green bins which Fcc Environment Services (uk) Ltd get £337,086.96 a month. I thought Balfour Beatty already emptied the public waste bins. What rubbish are you talking about?
