Hereford Voice Posted November 12, 2022 Author Report Posted November 12, 2022 We all love Dinosaurs! This was a great local event and it prompted us to remind people the night before It also promoted a very swift reaction from others, just 9 minutes later 🦖 🦕 Quote
Hereford Voice Posted November 12, 2022 Author Report Posted November 12, 2022 The Viking Hoard Day, we were so excited to get this news out there about this great up and coming event Such exciting news does not take long for others to catch on and spread the good word, anyone would start to think we are being stalked! Then of course there was the story about the Viking Hoard we broke about it coming to Hereford.. Our news reach must be bigger than we first thought because in a just a minute it appeared again, how incredible is that! Quote
Hereford Voice Posted November 12, 2022 Author Report Posted November 12, 2022 We all love a nice animal rescue story, this poor horse got itself stuck and needed rescuing! We also do our best to promote 'Positive News' Our positivity sometimes catches on very quickly too! Wow just 2 minutes! Quote
Hereford Voice Posted November 12, 2022 Author Report Posted November 12, 2022 The fire service had some really challenging weeks over the summer this year, so we thought to would be nice to say 'Thank You For Your Service' (we've been saying this for sometime now, we like the way people in the Us say it to their armed forces). Our thanks to the fire service didn't go unnoticed the following morning.. But the most rewarding element for us was when we had a sincere response back from HWFRS Fire Chief Jon Pryce Quote
Hereford Voice Posted November 12, 2022 Author Report Posted November 12, 2022 Themes Nothing more flattering than when someone follows your theme.. Early one Saturday morning we posted a Christmas themed article, you can see it below; You couldn't make it up, but you'll never guess what followed less than an hour later.. Quote
Hereford Voice Posted November 12, 2022 Author Report Posted November 12, 2022 Old Hereford Pics (theme) As we also have our Old Hereford Pics page which has been operating since 2008, we often share some wonderful old photographs from our archives, however, in recent years some local pages have also jumped on the bandwagon with their groups also promoting the same old picture theme. Remember Chadds department store in Hereford? Who doesn't eh! Well we shared this old photo of one of their shopping bags.. And just 2 minutes later.. Some things do not go unnoticed Quote
Irena Sulecka Posted November 12, 2022 Report Posted November 12, 2022 Good on you for highlighting this blatant copying. 🤙 1 1 Quote
yosemitesam Posted November 12, 2022 Report Posted November 12, 2022 Well done for highlighting this, blatant copying. 1 Quote
Steve Major Posted November 12, 2022 Report Posted November 12, 2022 The bloke that runs YH is a complete knob. Proper sad case, I knew him from his days in Tesco, not many people liked him there either. Quote

Some things do not go unnoticed Oh wow, I am not on Facebook but reading this little lot is shocking. You must have a strong legal case to take up here Colin? I have read them all, but this one stands out to me, how immature, who actually runs their page? Signs of jealousy here, they may have a good following but obviously and sadly a lot of arrogance to go with it. Hereford Voice have done a lot of good work locally over the years, I would let them continue with their clickbait material, people will soon see them for what they are and you have done well to call them out. Bill Thomas Posted November 14, 2022 Report Posted November 14, 2022 You know views but this is long overdue well done. I am a little surprised that you have not taken legal action for plagiarism. Good on you for exposing the them. Quote
Hereford Voice Posted November 15, 2022 Author Report Posted November 15, 2022 Here is a much more recent addition, yes we understand the some news will be published by many local outlets however on this occasion we thought that the illustration was quite amusing and somewhat confusing for some people! Hence our comments, which were clearly echoed by our shadow within their usual 13 minute window It took just 11 minutes this time, our comments clearly triggered a similar reaction.. Quote
Hereford Voice Posted November 16, 2022 Author Report Posted November 16, 2022 So we have run a Featured Fire Station Series for over a year or so, we publish about all the good work and training that HWFRS undergo on a regular basis by highlighting various stations. Guessing that if you put a few days in between topics it is less obvious... Quote
Hereford Voice Posted November 17, 2022 Author Report Posted November 17, 2022 Jumping On The Bandwagon Trial Turning Off Traffic Lights Anyone that knows Colin from Hereford Voice will know that he has campaigned since before 2010 to trial turning off some of the traffic lights in the city using the catchphrase 'The Traffic Just Flows' when they are off.. Colin along with other local people including John Llewellyn-Perkins (sadly now passed away), Amanda Martin and John Harrington formed a group 'Hereford Lights Out' (now Hereford Transport Group) and even did a presentation to Hereford City Council back in 2011 kindly arranged back then by Cllr Jim Kenyon. In October 2013 we had a follow up meeting (see this article) this time arranged by John Harrington (IOC) and with the full support of MP Jesse Norman. We were also joined by Martin Cassini (Martin Cassini is a TV programme-maker and campaigner for traffic system reform. He advocates replacing priority with equality to provide a level playing-field on which all road-users can act sociably) spoke very well and put his weight behind turning off all lights! this is a popular debate and with that in mind and all the potential clicks guess who jumped on this bandwagon.. Hereford Voice Posted November 21, 2022 Author Report Posted November 21, 2022 Some things don't change... So we posted this Tractor Run event and it generated a lot of interest, in just a few days it has reached over 10,000 And over 900 engagements, this big interest caught the eye of someone else too, strange that... Hereford Voice Posted November 24, 2022 Author Report Posted November 24, 2022 POSITIVE HEREFORD! We often love to share the positivity of our fabulous city, like we have below, by regularly listing all the recent positive news! We will normally use images like these below.. Clearly our themes and ideas are contagious..👇 We are flattered that others follow our lead so often. Quote
Paul Jones Posted November 28, 2022 Report Posted November 28, 2022 Their admin has some issues for sure, what a sad case. Thankfully I don's use fb and prefer to stick to using forums but it is good that you've called them out and fair-play to you. I would be talking with my solicitor because some of this is obvious plagiarism, so I would be taking this further. Quote
Hereford Voice Posted November 29, 2022 Author Report Posted November 29, 2022 It's all just a constant coincidence.. Quote
Hereford Voice Posted January 15, 2023 Author Report Posted January 15, 2023 For many years we always start the day with sometimes mentioning the day of the week or a simple 'Good Morning' which can be quite often accompanied with a positive message... Guess what, our 'Good Morning' ritual is also contagious.. Coincidence right? Quote
Hereford Voice Posted January 15, 2023 Author Report Posted January 15, 2023 Happy News Year! Let's see if 2023 brings any changes or new year resolutions, not to copy We guess not..this one took just 27 minutes, so a new record for a new year, we're confident that this will be improved on during 2023 Quote
Hereford Voice Posted January 15, 2023 Author Report Posted January 15, 2023 I recent years Herefordshire like many other counties have experienced annual floods, well this is like a trigger, some people literally get super super excited about it and start posting endless pictures and even film themselves on live videos on Facebook with the actual floods in the background, it's almost like some sort of therapy especially for people who really seem to thrive on others misfortunes... We try to limit our news articles and we often just update one topic, especially around road closures because there can be constant changes. Unlike some, we do not proclaim to be any type of flood experts or journalists. We have been supporting the local community and providing local news and events since before 2004. We have been working around the clock all week, trying our best to keep you all up to date with the latest road closures and events however, we're certainly not looking for a 'pat on the back' or any self self praise either. So we though we would thank our followers.. Guess what happened just 26 minutes later?? See for yourselves So a new record beating the previous but one minute (new best time 26 minutes). This flood update below 👇 we published expressing our support and relief for local residents and businesses, this was at 08:28hrs And then just 2 minutes later... Quote
Hereford Voice Posted January 17, 2023 Author Report Posted January 17, 2023 Oh look, last night while shopping we noticed a new Sushi deli coming to Tesco Belmont in Hereford But as predicted below, things catch on really quickly, particularly when there is a lot of local interest and of course 'CLICKS' Quote
Steve Major Posted January 17, 2023 Report Posted January 17, 2023 What a sad sad person, starting to think their admin is a lot my weird than maybe I first thought. 😳 There is something seriously up with this amount of copying, it's almost stalking, he has to be so jealous or maybe he just fancies you 😂 Quote
Hereford Voice Posted January 19, 2023 Author Report Posted January 19, 2023 Here is a nice 'Thank You' message from our local Police. Quote
Hereford Voice Posted January 27, 2023 Author Report Posted January 27, 2023 Police appealed to find the owner of this burnt out car in the County earlier today, notice that they posted at 11:11am this morning, so we waited.. The new made our post below at 13:51 Now let's guess who happened to post the very same topic just a 9 minutes after us? 🤔 See below 👇 Quote
Hereford Voice Posted February 11, 2023 Author Report Posted February 11, 2023 They are slacking a little bit as this one took them 15 mins.. Quote
