Meeting dates for the forthcoming year are agreed at the Annual Parish Council meeting which is held in May each year. For 2013-4, the following dates have been agreed: ​I have added all of these dates to our Community Calendar, which you can download or subscribe to here 2013 27th June - Belmont 8th August - Northolme 19th September - Belmont 31st October - Northolme 12th December - Belmont 2014 23rd January - Northolme 6th March - Belmont 17th April - Northolme 29th May - Belmont -
Back in the summer of 2010, I requested more lighting and more police patrols along the GWW Hereford as a few people had expressed how scary it was walking home. Councillor Adrian Bridges said this a year later in November 2011: We are now half way through 2013??? So was this followed up Mr Bridges? I asked Adrain again over a year later from the very same discussion: (image courtesy of Hereford Times) NOTHING! Was ever done and we have seen several attacks over the past months, I notice that the Hereford Times has run a feature this week to highlight this issue once again and have suggested that most people still feel safe in Hereford in this article as you will see from the large amount of comments on the HT website this is not what is being said.

Thank you Bobby for your swift reply, I also have noted that some comments have been made in the minutes of BRPC minutes. I was asked to keep my conversation private and have done so, but clearly BRPC have not...It would of been courteous for them to of informed me and also I notice that they have childishly removed the link back to our website here even though they had initially agreed, so it seems that if you do not do what they want they do odd things like this...Hmmm I am now going to contact someone at the Hereford Times for a brief discussion and also take legal advice as I am now being discriminated against by them removing their link, even though our link to their site remains in place. We as members of the public are funding the BRPC website aren't we....

Your actually correct Bobby in my response, however, I am intrigued as to how you know what was asked of me with regard to a apparent offending thread? As I never published any of this information. I am a massive believer in freedom of speech and this is a forum, I will not bow to any demands or requests to remove threads, we are all personally responsible for what we post.

No worries but I still think it needed to be a separate topic. What I don't want us seeing is a topic discussing stone throwing end up being a topic about wood being dumped, although I completely agree with what you say about these items being used as missiles, it is actually going off the original topic.

Glenda, when we last spoke on this subject you told me what you had agreed with Ruth kinsella above, but you told me that they would not be doing it this side of April as there was no money in the budget..guess what? It has been done but all they have done is gone over the SMALL signs that are are already there, which are of no use to anyone as we have proved. (so they did have the money after all then?) -

I did notice that myself but as you said, we should all know that we give way to traffic coming from our right, however, did you notice the yellow squared box? as I think that while they were not going into that area the traffic from the Ross Road took advantage is more like what really was happening.

I filmed this at 9.10 am this morning. Monday March 4th 2013 (not the 3rd of March as I have said in the video) as you can clearly see, the traffic flows fine and people are using their common sense.

Traffic is flowing perfectly this morning coming into Hereford on the A449 Belmont Road, guess why? The traffic lights are out! Which proves the point of our campaign. I was interviewed live on BBC Hereford and Worcester again this morning as they are running a feature on this whole culture of traffic lights and the problems they can cause in some towns and cities. See the pictures and movie that I took at 9am this morning.
