I see that she has now gone from posing for the HT to condemning the paper! The longer she is here the more it will encourage others to do the same, she should be removed in my opinion, sooner rather than later.

Police Statement: “Everyone has rights. You have the right to live how you choose and you have the right to decline assistance if you wish. "You can decline to claim benefits and decline assistance with accommodation, if you wish. This is a right everyone has and a right that this lady has chosen for herself. “We have linked in with the Outreach Worker, whose last visit was July 13, where she offered the woman another option of temporary accommodation, this was declined. “This type of offer has been made before and declined. "She has been offered advice and assistance with benefits, this has too been declined. “We would like to reassure the community that although this woman has chosen not to engage with us or the services available to her we will continue to check on her as her wellbeing and safety is paramount. “We are aware that the location she is in is not ideal, for her or for road users. "We urge road users to be observant whilst in the area of the roundabout to ensure their own safety and the safety of this woman.†Anyone willing to discuss how the police work with partners to address issues relating to homelessness in Hereford should call the team on 101.

Colin James replied to Colin James's topic in Open Forum
I think your missing the point here, the word we are looking for is scammers! -

Who said I was on holiday? But yes, I took about 300 fantastic photographs, these were just a few I took for the forum. -

This is Bielsko-Biała, which is a big city and has a population of 174,000 -
The underground subways are so so different in Poland. All of the subways we used (and there were white a few) were all well lit up, with CCTV and spotless! No rubbish, advertising posters or graffiti anywhere!

Funny you should mention that Frank, I was actually going to say just that in my original post and yes you are absolutely 100% on the money, we didn't see one single person on a mobility scooter. I saw one chap on crutches coming out of a shop on one of the days and that was it. -
This is slightly off the original topic as the staff have to sign into a contract here.

We have just returned from yet another wonderful week in Poland. As in this topic here are we to believe that here are less disabled people in Poland compared to the UK? Or is it that we just have more scammers making a mockery of our benefits system...I took photographs virtually overtime we passed a car park and as you will see, there are only one or two disabled designated bays and guess what, each time they were empty!

GOAL POSTS PLAY AREA NORTHOLME COMMUNITY CENTRE
Colin James replied to Adrian Bridges's topic in Belmont
Good news Adrian, thank you for the update, please post a photo when you get a chance. -
I had one put on my car about 7 months ago and completely ignored it, after a few threatening letters all correspondence from the scammers have stopped. Unless, something has changed within this time frame, nothing has changed as far as I am concerned.

Unbelievable that is has been allowed to fall in such a state! I will need to go down and have a closer look.

Well I have another issue with this because tonight I called into the New Canton House Chinese in Bridge St as I remembered that they happily display their ratings but there is a twist... New Canton House Bridge Street, Hereford, Rated 2 - Last inspection 21 September 2016 Take a look at the photographs I took this evening, they are still displaying their original rating of 4 from back in 2015, any law against this? This is misleading is it not?

I walked across the Old Bridge this evening and it is a disgrace! Our Old Bridge is the picture that represents Hereford on postcards etc...

There are no new houses, they have just sold the one on the front and the land at the back is for sale or has just been sold however, these roots have damaged this wall years ago, this is not something recent but it is getting worse and no signs of the tree's being reduced in size or trimmed back either

I have MAJOR concerns over these two tree's on the Belmont Road, I have mentioned this several times over the years but nothing is seems to be done about it. These tree's are an accident just waiting to happen! The roots have pushed out the wall beneath.

OMG, I was about to post a topic on this very subject today. I took these pictures to show how bad they have become! I will add a photo to your original topic so it's appears on the front page if that is ok.

You only tend to see the establishments with higher ratings displaying them :)
-
Yes they are still there as I just drove past, I didn't see them this morning, so what's this all about then? A little dangerous and not the safest place to pitch a tent, no real place to cross the road.

I have just driven past and never saw anything?
