Well that is what I thought, maybe it is just a rumour. Funny enough we stopped at Toby Carvery in Worcester this evening on our way back from the German Xmas market in Birmingham.
-
I hear rumours that Toby Carvery are coming to Hereford? Possibly at the bunch of carrots... anyone?
-
Hope everyone is okay too.

Good question, yesterday I was in Manchester overnight on business and there were several German markets there, really nice and very busy! I took these photographs:

Our beautiful city of Hereford looking very festive this evening. Hope you like my little editing...

Yes my good friend Paul has now resigned and Dan is leaving Play.

I have created a separate topic Martin for you as the other topic was more about the clean up that we organised last year. I have only ever seen a BB truck on the GWW once! I am not sure that there is a regular maintenance schedule at all maybe the local councillor can advise.

The lad was of Polish origin (I am not going to name him) and apparently his relationship had come to an end. He hanged himself in this odd location because it was directly opposite where his girlfriend lives, this is all very sad.

According to the Daily Mirror in this article This is the list of stores that are vulnerable to close based on the local data company report Aberdeen Ayr Banbury Barrow-in-Furness Basildon Birmingham Blackburn Blackpool Bolton Boston Bournemouth Brentwood Bridlington Brierley Hill Bristol Buxton Carlisle Chichester Coventry Darlington Dundee Durham Fareham Hereford Hull Kettering King’s Lynn Leamington Spa Leeds Leicester Liverpool Macclesfield Maidstone Manchester Mansfield Milton Keynes Newcastle Upon Tyne Northwich Nottingham Peterborough Preston Rochdale Sheffield Southampton St Albans Stockton-on-Tees Stoke Swansea Swindon Sunderland Tunbridge Wells Warrington But I agree with two twowheelsgood all this report will do is cause unnecessary worry and anxiety to those people who work there and their families.

I heard that Hereford's store was very profitable and safe but maybe not...

I received a report that a body of a man had been found near McDonalds on the Belmont Rd early this morning. Ambulance crews were at the scene but no further updates at this time. Police are not treating this incident as suspicious. Photo courtesy of the HT

Argos are opening a click and collect in Sainsbury's Hereford. Unfortunately this will be at the demise of their store in high town. Argos main store has been under threat of closure for some time now and the the store in Hereford I am informed will probably close next year. Hopefully most of the staff will be offered jobs at Sainsbury's but this threatened closure is not good news for the city centre.

Worrying times! Unreal to think someone with absolutely ZERO experience as a politician can become president! Trump's head will get even bigger now, if that is possible but one in the eye for the far left. Kanye West next! Shocked is an understatement. Lets see if he builds that wall that he was ranting on about so much now...time will tell

Hi Andy and welcome to Hereford Voice we hope to see you doing in more and more discussions in the future. Argos are opening in Sainsbury's Hereford I received this in my inbox 2 days ago Unfortunately the main store, I hear will close next year so another empty shop for high town. I have created a separate topic about Argos here

Good to see the shop occupied again.

Adrian, the infrastructure which could be utilised could run a tram from the top of Newton Farm through Redhill, Hunderton, Whitecross and into the train station, it could also run from the top of Holmer (back of Wiggins), it could also go from Rotherwas. We are looking at private funding and sponsorships like many other cities. We are merely asking the council to look at this idea and run a feasibility study at the moment but please don't dismiss the idea before any studies take place.

On a more positive theme there have been some encouraging discussions about new stores opening in Hereford. Ragwert has informed us that the designer store Flannels is one of those shops due to open in the former H&M store in Commercial Street photo courtesy of ilovenewcastleuk Who else is opening in High Town Hereford?
-
Okay, lets please keep to the topic in hand but I will create a new topic about new shops opening in Hereford.

I wish they would leave the clocks and not put them back, there was talk of a change in the law a while back but nothing seems to come of it.
