  11. I couldn't agree more.
  12. He broke the law 20 years ago... this is more about his ex wife in my opinion. Nevertheless, this man should not be in prison, this is absurd.
  13. Thank you for the clarification John, I thought something may of been a miss here.
  14. It looks like she has been slightly misquoted or it has bee taken out of context. Hopefully one of our IOC members maybe able to through more light on it.
  15. SAS Veteran Albert Patterson said he kept the 9mm self-loading pistol, which was taken from an Argentinian officer, to remind him of the 22 friends that died in the conflict. Judge Christopher Plunkett yesterday said that he had been privileged to see Patterson’s service record but parliamentary legislation left him with little choice but to send the former soldier to prison. Albert Patterson was handed a 15-month prison term for having the 9mm self-loading pistol which he took from an Argentinian officer during the campaign. “In the wrong hands these weapons could lead to the death of police officers or cause all sorts of mayhem,” Judge Plunkett told Hereford Crown Court. “It is this risk that parliament is concerned about.” Patterson had previously admitted possessing a 9mm self-loading pistol, five rounds of expanding ammunition, 177 rounds of 9mm ammunition, four Enfield pistols and a gas self-loading rifle component part. Stephen Davies, prosecuting, said that Patterson now lived in Thailand when not working overseas and – following a divorce from his wife – his brother went around to his former home to collect his items. However, his former wife became suspicious of what his brother was up to after items of jewellery had previously gone missing. She contacted police and they carried out a full search, finding the illegal weapons. Please sign The Sun's Petition for his immediate release.
  16. Hi vmaxblues and welcome to Hereford Voice! I completely agree with your comments, money had been invested in the local community on good projects like this one only to be ruined by a few idiots. CCTV is a must in this area and would also cover part of the GWW which people are still reluctant to use after the hours of darkness.
  17. Can someone please explain how the picture on the left with a few added tree's (WHICH WILL NEED MAINTAINING unless, they are just going to plant them and leave them to eventually become overgrown and meet the tree's either side of the road causing a dark canopy, so basically a tick box exercise) will suddenly become the picture on the right? This is clearly only one section that I have highlighted here for South Wye. Personally, I think the tree boulevard is a stupid idea that will achieve nothing. See the full report below and make up your own minds. Herefordshire Council Local Transport Plan 2016-2031
  18. Well done and Congratulations from Hereford Voice to La Roche Restoration who have in their own words "been lucky enough to be able to offer our help across the two week schedule, helping a very deserving family to create the home of their dreams" working and supporting the BBC show DIY SOS who have been filming in Monmouth from Tuesday (5th April). They are a very small business ( basically one man with a van and a knowledge of many trades!) based in Hereford.
  19. Okay back on topic please, if someone would like to create a topic about North Vs South then feel free but I think the same mindless acts happen all over the city in my experience.
  20. That is unbelievable ! Have they got no security? These properties are up £300k in price, so I am surprised if they don't. I have shared this on both our Facebook and Twitter pages, I hope they catch these mindless idiots!
  21. In fairness to the PM, he needed to respond accurately and if that meant gathering all his documentation and evidence in order to provide a defence, then I see nothing wrong with that tbh.
