Herefordshire Council have now had confirmation that the asbestos removal work at the Hereford Library and Museum building will commence on 1 February and is expected to last 5 to 6 weeks.

To be fair, I had a look around inside the other day and they have spent a lot of money, it looks nice, however, I think as a customer I would prefer not to be totally enclosed and at least part of the door should of been just glass so that people can see in and out. Perhaps they do not want people to see what is going on inside... Regarding the painted parking spaces, yes, I attempted to park my car (which is quite small) and I was clearly obstructing the pavement, so I moved the car onto the roadside. Ideally, they would of been better off painting the spaces diagonally which would of reduced the amount of spaces but clear of the footpath.

On April 15th last year there was this accident on the Asda (A465) junction Belmont Road Hereford in which a cattle trailer carrying sheep overturned, killing all 20 sheep onboard. I took this photograph this morning and as you can see, we are 9 months on and NOTHING appears to have been done with regard to replacing the broken lights?? How long does it take to put things back as they were?

A friend of mine lives right where the road is closed, so I will try and find out what happened. I have heard their was an altercation between two young guys but I am not 100%.
