  1. Thats great thanks for the update Pete.
  2. We are going off topic can we get back to the topic in hand please. Nick Nenaditch's brother...
  3. You will probably find that the garages that are in desperate need of repair are the ones that are not currently not being rented! These are owned by Hereford Housing, not the Council. I have written to HH to highlight the poor state of these garages requesting that they be properly repaired and maintained.
  4. The Glass Tandoori Indian Restaurant This restaurant offers superb food and service at very reasonable prices. Please mention that you have seen this advert on Hereford Voice for additional discount. 61A Commercial Road, Hereford HR1 2BP Phone: 01432 276633 Now located inside the Golden Galleon
  5. Thanks for the update.
  6. Remember these floods from a few years ago back in 2014? The Camera I used here was a little Lumix TZ60
  7. I am with you on this one Bill. I Can't stand Jeremy Corbyn personally and I hope he will never become PM but in all honesty, I don't think there is any fear of that happening.
  8. It's here.... Like Radio UK I am listening live through my Sonos speakers via TuneIn
  9. It's all taking shape rather nicely.
  10. No surprises there! :Cha ching: Do you have anymore details?
  11. As little as £6.04 per week but there is no door lol
  12. The garages in Usk Close Redhill are a complete disgrace! These unmaintained garages not only make the surrounding area look terrible but are also an advert to invite vandalism. Who owns or is responsible for these garages? Would this be Hereford Housing?
  13. I wrote this on the HT website comments What about the gates? Until they are toned down it looks no better...
  14. Click on this link Ken and you can send him a private message (PM)
  15. Hi Ken, Cannot say I have heard of any groups, maybe Chris Chappell may be able to throw some light on this for you or possibly the Kindle Centre? What do you have in mind?
  16. Between Ledbury and the M50 they are terrible, I have contemplated going over to clean them myself!
  17. Yes Bromyard and Leominster are exempt from this debate ha ha
  18. No Roger, I think I may have not put my point across well enough. In Poland they have ALWAYS laid on buses for FREE taking people to the shopping centres and they have lots of them too! Parking at the shopping centres is also FREE, this is not something new. My GF is Polish and she tells me it has always been like that. As for your comments above, all I can say is that not every EU foreign person in the UK is Polish. I suspect the majority of people in that queue you refer too were possibly a mixture of people from Romania, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Russia, Hungary, Estonia, Malta, Slovakia, Latvia, Portugal and Polish... I do get a little frustrated hearing people referring to virtually every foreign person as being Polish when a lot of the time they are not.
  19. I think car parking charges in Hereford are expensive anyway. It's strange because when I was in Poland earlier this year, there are FREE buses for the local shopping centres, yet here they charge you to park at the shopping centre where they want you to spend your money.
  20. I will be in for a beer before Xmas mate or breakfast even!
  21. That's not good to hear.
  22. You have a point, so it will be interesting to see how much HC charge when they install meters.
  23. Herefordshire Council Parking Review New Charges Agreed. Herefordshire residents, visitors and shoppers will see changes to parking tariffs and to the way they pay for parking after the adoption of the council’s parking review. The changes will take effect on 1 February next year and will see the implementation of contactless payment facilities and changes to charges which balance increases with discounts aimed at supporting the local economy and tackling congestion. In Hereford, charges will increase at many car parks including at Merton Meadow from £3 all day to £5, and at Bath Street, Bus Station, Garrick multi-storey, Greyfriars, Union Walk, Venns Close and Wye Street from £4.70 for over four hours to £6. I recently visited Eastbourne where they have a very busy town centre and promenade. I was pleasantly surprised to see parking meters with simple charges - 2 Hours only 20p - 4 Hours £1.20 - 6 Hours £1.50 - 6-10 Hours £4. I took this photograph of one of the parking meters, which shows all of the very reasonable prices. Herefordshire Council could adopt a small fee for people who just need to go into the city centre for no more than 2 hours. Not everyone needs to park all day!
  24. Yes it it similar range of produce but probably only 40% is Polish in general the rest is Czech, Russian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Slovakian etc As far as I am aware the owners are not Polish.
  25. Quick update, never quite understand why they feel the need to say Polski Sklep (Polish Shop) when in fact the people are not even Polish and most of the produce is from all over Europe.
