I took these photographs at the end of September, so I am surprised, they have been very busy and probably still have a lot of work to do but this is great new for Hereford. -

That happened to me once in a diesel car! My boss at the time insisted that I could drive through the water under the bridge at Rotherwas, clearly that was a mistake because water got into the air intact and because it was a diesel it knackered the engine.

The highways agency were out in large numbers tonight, just seen at least 6-8 guys in hi viz jackets walk onto the Old Bridge armed with their torches checking the river levels, never seen these guys out at 12.30am before. They wondered off down past the Saracens Head towards the Victoria Bridge. I took these photographs.

I have been reading this article in the HT and Mayor Charles Nicholls is correct, the city could benefit from a Tourist Information Centre and as you can see he has suggested a good location with this empty shop in Widemarsh St. I thought we had once had one in King St but the funding was stopped sometime ago and it closed? However, I believe there is a better alternative and it is smack opposite our Cathedral.

I agree Mick. Drybridge Walk is under used but I think if they cleaned it up, added additional lighting and possibly CCTV it would help. -

I share the same view, who came up with additional movement figures being as high as 48%? personally, I hardly think there will be any additional traffic at all. -
