  1. To be honest I agree with Denise, I advertised this festival nievely thinking it was for local producers. The King George playing fields is a public recreation area, I can't see how they can get away with charging an entrance fee. We have read far too many complaints for this to be ignored.
  2. I promoted this on Facebook, Twitter and here as I always try to do for local events, I feel very disappointed by this response, however, when I took the photographs yesterday I couldn't help but notice it was all fenced off which I thought then was a little odd.
  3. Another, I think I will drop a letter to the HT.
  4. Here is another post from our FB Page:

  7. Just had this response on our FaceBook Page:
  8. Whats with this £8.50 entrance fee for adults and £7 for kids? It does indeed appear to be a rip off Denise. I thought this festival was for local companies and producers as you have pointed out, that was clearly not the case.
  9. Two questions here. 1. So you have to dismount in High Town if on a bike yes? 2. I see a lot of cyclists riding on the pavements, only this morning, I saw a cyclist on the path on the Belmont Road, is this illegal? I remember as a kid the police would always stop and tell you to walk on the path and not ride your bike.

  14. No worries my friend. I think a few of the cities traffic lights have changed, I noticed the ones (that we don't need) halfway down Edgar St have changed timings too.
  15. Sorry gents, but this was posted in the 'Part Time Traffic Lights Campaign Topic' and this is a separate topic to that, I have therefore created a topic discussion of its own. Please keep discussions on topic where possible or create a new one.
