Well in the meantime why can't the council put a canvas image up? At least it will look better than the eye sore we have today. I took these photos when on holiday in Corfu, we travelled to Paxos island, I know its not the best but it will give you an idea of what I am talking about, look at the canvas (pink building) in front of the old building, from a distance it looks like a real building.

Jessica aged 16-years-old and Ellie aged 15-years-old were both last seen by Waitrose in Hereford heading towards High Street, at approximately 6:30pm on Friday 17th July 2015. A good friend of mine, Mr Darren Socket has won the bid for the Butter Market. This from Herefordshire Council's website: 'The refurbishment of Hereford Butter Market is a step closer as Herefordshire Council select a preferred bidder for the redevelopment of the iconic Hereford building. Two final candidates presented their business case on Tuesday 9 June to a panel of councillors and officers from the council and Hereford City Council and local businessman Darren Sockett was selected as preferred bidder. As well as ensuring the future of the market the council will receive payment for the site equivalent to the current market value'.

From West Mercia Police:
-
The victim, named locally as Christian Bagley, 30, died in Hereford County Hospital.
-
Reports tell me that a stabbing took place on the GWW (Great Western Way and the victim ( a man in his 30's) was later found with very serious injuries in or around Rogers Avenue or Lewis Smith Avenue Hunderton, he sadly died later in hospital.
-
We are hearing reports of a fatal stabbing in Hunderton. A man in his 30's was stabbed late last night. UPDATE: The victim has sadly died so this is now a full murder enquiry.

We are regulars here, visiting 2 or 3 times a month, so this is very sad news indeed.

I agree, can't remember the last time I tried them but I do remember the experience was not great, I think it was when Alan still owned it.

I was in Commercial Road this evening and noticed that Mr Chips is closed, this is very recent as it was open was I was in town in the last few weeks.

Flats looks fine, it was the new houses as you turn left off Belmont Rd that I think look ugly, time will tell, lets see how they look when they are completed and more importantly how they will look in 3 or 4 years. As for the charges, seems excessive.
-
Yes I hold the same view, now that these house are taking shape, its totally different to how I expected them to look too. Whats with the grey bricks? Are those to identify social housing or something stupid like that? They highlighted social housing houses in Westholme Rd when they built those with grey drab bricks If my memory serves me well, I think thats a terrible thing to do if this is the case, all the house types should be mixed but maybe I am wrong. As for this one block of terraced houses around that bend, thats going to look terrible if a year or so, it will be lined with wheelie bins for starters. Why didn't they build nice blocks like the ones hey have just built across the road in Beattie Ave, they look nice clean and modern. I do not like the black metal window surrounds either, you will see rust runs down the walls where they screw them together in a few years. They come up with these designs but use cheap materials, so new house look pretty shabby within a short time.

So is this charge for the new houses of this topic of HH in general?
