Chris, I know the lady in question and I cannot believe the situation she is in, its ridiculous, she was telling me how helpful you had been, so lets hope you can get her re-housed as that house should be condemned! She should not have to suffer another Winter there.

I have split this from IOC topic and created one of it's own.

Surplus de-icing product BBLP recently trialled a de-icing solution which has subsequently not been taken into routine use as it is not suitable for the type of highway use we require. It is however potentially suitable for use in a number of community type settings, perhaps in churchyards, entrances to residential care homes, and so on. The surplus is available free of charge to any Parish Council/Community Group that thinks they could use it. I’ve attached a data sheet but essentially the solution is most effective when sprayed on footpaths, yard areas or similar when icy conditions are forecast (to prevent ice forming) rather than after the event. The solution comes in 25 litre drums and as it needs to be sprayed any group taking up the offer would need a simple spray container/device. An opportunity maybe to get ahead of the game in preparation for next winter. If you are interested let Mike or I know. Herefordshire Council website is the one-stop-shop for up to date information Maps for pot holes are available on the Councils website https://www.herefordshire.gov.uk/transport-and-highways/maintenance/potholes We hope the above is of interest. Kind regards Shane & Mike. Shane Hancock | Senior Locality Steward (Hereford City South) Balfour Beatty Living Places | Unit 3, Thorn Business Park | Rotherwas | Hereford | HR2 6JT

"Nothing to hide, nothing to fear?" This could happen to you.

This is really great news and relief for Julian and you. I would definitely follow this up and this was totally out of order, also ask to have the recording of the desk sergeant looked at, all this was bully boy tactics and these officers should be brought to account and explain their actions. -
Advice: Parking and penalty notices on private land

Wankers! They have a sensor I notice on the wall in the car park next to the Black Lion, I might just drive in there, sit there for 5 mins and wait for the van to turn up then drive out. -

Between 11pm and 5pm? do you mean 11am-5pm? I am confused here, if no licence is required she can stay open 24/7 yes? As for law makers, I have no problem with requiring a licence to sell HOT FOOD but its the LOCAL COUNCIL that have in the past refused trading in Hereford after 0130 hours, I will not be voting this council in again for sure.
-
I could not of worded any better Jim, you have hit the nail on the head. You never know though as no hot food is involved here and we all know that hot food makes people more aggressive and more inclined to be up to no good! lol
-
I will be interested to see the outcome of this application... photo courtesy of the HT Taken from this article in the HT I wish her luck with her application as HV have been fighting to allow traders to be able to stay open longer, offering 'hot food' during the early hours in this popular topic but this is a separate application as no hot food is being offered, nevertheless, it will be interesting to see the outcome.

I see that there are a couple of voting signs for Mr Edwards in Southolme Road, is this not very close to the Polling Station and actually part of Belmont? So is he standing in Belmont or Newton Farm?
-
So what's the difference to offering cake to cutting a potential voters hedge then?
-
My dad knew all of these guy's sadly he is no longer with us.

Which end of widemarsh Street is this? Which building do you know?

Well a little birdie tells me that Mr Edwards is taking legal action against Hereford Voice... because of this topic. On what grounds I wonder? Hmmm If this is correct, then as the administrator of Hereford Voice, I look forward to receiving your letters Mr Edwards,
