The GWW really does need a god clean up, a lot of the bushes need clearing back and rubbish needs collecting.
-
Excellent Martin well done mate what a superb effort on your part, fair play.

I will try and find the time to run the same exercise. Okay, I have good news and bad news, good news is that Millets is not closing down permanently, they are merely closing for a refurbishment. Bad news is that SuitU and Top Shop are closing their stores in the town centre.
-
Oh no more bad news. I was only walking through Eign Gate last week and went into Millets, there was no signs up then, what a shame.
-
Some good news, High Town is a mess and I am not sure how far 2.5 Million will go but it's a very positive move, even if it is an election year.

Okay guys, we are totally off topic now, back to 'Freedom Of Speech' please and the apparent Paris Shootings. Any other off topics will be removed.

I know hoe to prevent these adverts from displaying on Safari but many people will not. I just happen to be on a friends computer this evening updating it for him and I noticed all the tea bags and pickle everywhere. Thanks for the advice nevertheless always appreciated.

Maybe they have a new website administrator? But its really does look awful.

I understand that advertising has it's place and helps with costs but the HT website lately looks horrendous in my opinion, I just had a look and faced this lot! What a mess... I find it difficult to differentiate between the stories and adverts, maybe it's just me but they seem to have lost their way.

They are cowards too.

This is terrible, this has clearly gone on far too long and seriously needs addressing as a matter of urgency. There is also a health risk I would imagine.

This is a real shame, Watercress Harrys will be closing its doors this Saturday night for the last time by the seem of it. This is the message posted on their Facebook Page:

I emailed all councillors in the early days and again early last year, many signed up, but there are also a few like Mr Rone, Polly Andrews who signed up and have only ever signed in a few times, then there is Andy Myatt who originally signed up in 2010 and has NEVER posted, we spoke last year as he had forgotten his details so we re-set them and he is still to login. See screen shot attacked taken from my Administration portal, there is no hiding :) You can clearly see who are the active Councillors.

If you want to watch that classic game between Hereford United vs Newcastle it's on BBC2 NOW!

I completely agree with you Paul, this so wrong. 'Name & Shame' It might be worth dropping a letter to the HT too.

Colin James replied to Colin James's topic in Hereford Voice Projects
Plenty of Door staff available, there never have been loads of Police around in Hereford during the early hours, so I don't think this would have too big an impact.- 291 replies

I used to drive Private Hire Cabs many years ago and if we ever had anyone who looked slightly suspicious we would always ask them to pay up front and give them a price for the trip. Taxi's who have rank status should realise that this is a privilege and not a right and this badge/license can easily be revoked. I understand what Roger is saying but that is the luck of the draw, some fares will be more profitable than others but they cant start picking and choosing like this, thats not fair on others cabbies and its not right either.

I hope that you reported him Paul

Surely as license holders they are duty bound to take customers Paul no? I appreciate they can refuse to take roudy or drunk customers but genuine customers needing a short trip, how can they refuse? This is a disgrace!!

Relaxation Of Hot Food License In Hereford...
Colin James replied to Colin James's topic in Hereford Voice Projects
You used to be able to buy a curry in Hereford at 3am, I agree that maybe there are not enough people out at that time but I also believe its because most go straight home from the clubs because they know everywhere is closed! It's not about winners and losers, its about choice and that is where I am coming from.- 71 replies
