I noted the Remain team was in high town at midday on Saturday, they were not getting a lot of people interested in what they were saying. I saw just three people one of their campaigners was trying to talk to but they just walked away.

While there are inquires and a external auditors do there work the HT will not be reporting on the story of Mr Robinson.

If that is the case Tony Johnson must have recently taken over finance from Graham because it was his remit while I was a member of the authority.

As Graham was the cabinet member for corporate services and finance,his resignation may have something to do with Mr Robinson and the descreponcy of the money for the link road, I believe the press will be printing a story about the inquiry soon, but although they know about Graham resignation has chosen not to comment at this present moment of time.

many years ago this land used to have a detached 1900s house on it. I believe the people had something to do with the church. I do not think this ground is suitable for a 4 storey block of flats, where there will be no room for gardens and of course no parking for cars. I would not like to live right in front of the traffic lights with all the fumes from cars, lorries, buses while standing in line waiting for the lights to change.

Having made inquiries at the development site office this morning, I have been advised the road to the front of the oval shops is being closed for extensive works. Although not been advised of this the shops and properties above will be modernised as a part of the Oval development so they could be renewing all the services to the housing properties.

Mick, that is just the point he is not doing it in his own time, but the time he should be dealing with his constituents concerns and getting a council allowance for. Unfortunately his only concern is the Newton Farmers and Belmont Haywood country park groups. Where he has appointed himself as chairman of both groups. To the detriment of his constituents.

Aylestone voice, he does spend most of his time sat on a mower cutting the grass in Belmont, and ask all the other people living in Newton Farm, and they will tell you the same, that said I agree that BBLP are paid to do the job so why is he doing it. It is a great pity he doesn't do the job he paid to do represent the people of Newton Farm and dealing with their problems. I attended a street meeting on Wednesday night with residents, and have managed today getting an answer from HHL and Keepmoat for them. It isn't my job to take up people's concerns anymore, that said when people come to me I cannot let them down. Which reflects very badly on him! he is letting his constituents down, and the people of Newton Farm won't forget that!.

Up date on Mr Robinson, he has been suspended from his job, pending inquiries today!

Holme Lacy Road will close tomorrow Wednesday for three nights for footpath resurfacing work from Junction of the A49 to Norton Ave. It will be completed in time for Bank Holiday weekend.The work will be carried out at night betwee 6.30pm until 11pm. All shops will remain open throughout this period.

Hereford did the boys proud this morning giving them a grat reception in town and then went on to the Town Hall for a meal. I was fortunate to have my photo taken with the team at the Town Hall.

Sad news for the Bull's we lost 4-1, news reported on HT. Lets hope Hereford people still come out tomorrow to welcome them home.

Yes, the Phil Edwards who suppose to represent Newton Farm (I say that because he spends all his time sat on a mower cutting the grass in Belmont where he lives) doesn't own a lorry and wouldn't be seen dead in one, he drives a car with personalised number plates.

This road was debated and passed at full council meeting yesterday. Two South Wye councillors Edwards and Chappell voted for this road, they must be mad. I hope the people remembers this at the next election in 2019 and vote them out. unfortunately it seems its a forgone conclusion now when it goes to planning in June.

Did everyone see Hereford on local TV news tonight? they have now left for Wembley with Ronaldo seeing them off. The open top bus tour starts on Monday 12pm from Widemarsh Gate,along Widemarsh street ,and into High Town by Black & White house for photo shoot at 1pm.

Dilligaf, I see Keepmoat has given a statement to the HT (see page 10 of this week issue) . in regards to what is happening at Trevenant Court, stating its annual maintenance work, funny that they have not been built 12 months yet, to merit a annual check, and if there was something wrong with the roof, as it is obvious there was why did they hand the keys over to HHL?. DILLIGAF,As I said before (see post 14) why would they lie, about how much they are being paid what would they gain? and they volenteered the information when I asked them what was wrong because of the scaffolding around the flats. The press have become very interested in the whole of this development due to complaints they have received from tenants/homeowners over the past few months.

As I indicated before an elected mayor is done like through an general election for councillors and the term of office is 4 years. Cllr Kenyon was elected by the city councillors of which the majority was his own group, the deputy mayor is also one of their own group, as IOC runs the city council it was a forgone conclusion they would vote one of their own into office like they have done for the last 3 years.

An elected mayor in other cities are elected by the county council and they serve a 4 year term. Hereford mayor is elected by the city council councillors and they serve only 1 year.

UPDATE from HT. A 51 year old man was stabbed whilst sitting in a car, he was airlifted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he underwent surgery for his injuries, he is in a serious but stable condition. A 20 year old man was arrested at the scene for attempted murder, two knives were recovered at the scene. END.

Denise, it was Cllr Matthews who brought the error to the attention of the chief executive, who then looked into the matter,Cllr Matthews have kept on about the error asking what the council is proposing to do about it, suggesting that an outside firm of auditors should be asked to look at the figures, not leaving it to Mr Robinson. I attended a meeting of the Herefordshire Independents a couple of months ago, where Mr Robinson and his assistant came to speak about the 2016 budget, I asked about additional money for social care as when I was a cllr the social care budget was never enough to carry through a 12 month period, as sitting on social care scrutiny for 15 years the budget was never enough in all that time, and we continually borrowed out of the next years budget . They both said it had balanced out for 2015. I told them it has never balanced out in 15 years, I am convinced they are not compedent do their jobs. Like Cllr Matthews I await to see what other mistakes come to light from the auditors investigation!!!.

Having spoken to some people living in Brampton Road, they told me the incident happened in Grosmont Grove, the upper half of Brampton Road from the shop to Treago Grove has beem cordoned off, both men were known to each other, Air Ambulance attended to take man to hospital with what was reported as neck injuries , the other was arrested at the scene. My neice lives in Grosmont Grove so will check with her in the morning if she knows more.

The vote leave campaigners was in High Town today, collected some leaflets and large notice. There is a leave campaigner meeting next Tues 17th May at the Herdsman pub, at 7pm. I asked if Boris is coming to Hereford on his battle bus they said yes at the end of May.

What reason would they have to lie about how much they are being paid? it doesn't make sense. The firm/company is not "a gang in a van" I did not ask about the cost of materials, all the workmen said the other company made a right mess of things and questioned whether they were qualified to do the job. I could tell you a lot about this development, none of which is good!
