Hereford Football Club Poppy Shirt Auction
H.Wilson replied to Colin James's topic in Edgar Street Grid and Courtyard Theatre
Good idea and nice to see Hereford doing well again. -
I hate these vouchers, the ones that offer you x amount of money off your next shop (because they were too expensive today!) They are banking on the fact that ou will forget to bring it next time and usually I do.

Well done to you Ben and welcome to HV.

Redevelopment Of High Town Fire Damaged Building
H.Wilson replied to Colin James's topic in Hereford City
I would knock the bloody lot down and put up a nice new building instead of trying to cling onto some old damp filled listed building the nobody wants the upkeep and expense of! -
Yes yes yes this is a brilliant idea, we have the beer on the wye which is very good but a city version in our local pubs could be even better.

I understand what you are saying but I was pointing out that the initial request for cctv along the gww etc came from Colin, you then as councillor followed up that request which should be credited.

I do not want to get into an arguments over who any credit should be proportioned too because anything achieved from our discussions here is a credit to us all, but with regards to cctv was it not Colin who initially suggested additional lighting and cctv in this topic? This was over 5 years ago.

The idea is okay but can you not just force members to login to view the topics anyway?

I agree Bill. Well done to Hereford BID keeping Hereford cleaner than it was previously.

Did you mean Haywood Park?

It is easy enough, we don't have any room for additional bins in our kitchen, we wash what needs to be recycled and when we have a few items we pop it outside into the recycle bin. We have a small pedal bin under the sink for the rest of feral waste. We are thinking of having a waste disposal unit installed, my sister swears by hers so we are looking into that. I think everyone has a duty to do their bit.

This only highlights the needs for an atm at the old market.

In order to get cash back you have to send money, I may just need a tenner for something, so a cash point is a necessity here in my opinion.

To be honest dippy and Paul Cardin have really given HV a good slagging off in this topic on the Hereford times website http://www.herefordtimes.com/news/13714172.Changes_at_council_department/ dippy may well have contributed immensely here but so have many others but the blogger dippy has undone all the good topics and posts in this discussion on the ht website imo. Other members don't all go running to the alternative local website to slag off this forum simply because the pack on here as dippy describes us don't always agree with their view. I have been a member here for a long time and we should all be able to agree to disagree, we are all entitled to our own opinion. If I received a warning from one of the moderators here, I would sit back and think about why I was given a warning and just accept the moderators decision, you can still challenge this decision but read the rules the decision if final. The alternative site just bans people without warning or discussion, in general the moderator here is very tolerant.
