I know someone who was compensated because their roof was asbestos the other side of town, it has since been replaced. As for the garages being used for cars only, when I enquired I was informed that a application form could be sent out and that there was a reduced rent for HA tenants and a slightly higher price for non HA tenants, I asked if I had to use the garage for a car and was advised that what I do with the garage is my business providing it was not used for business or commercial use, so I could use it to store some of my personal items in. Besides, new modern cars hardly fit which someone else has already pointed out.

Yes I know and that scares me, bloke needs to grow a pair of balls and learn that these people do not understand discussion and debate. He is very up and down, even some Labour MP's are worried about his stance on national security.

Still better to have this place open than closed for years.

Do we have a photograph of her last garden? Oh thats right she never had one and she is moaning, a "reality check" is what is missing here.

Well done to these lads, credit where credit is due. Nothing in the HT yet. -
Well having just driven through town I must say that all the restaurants looked really busy.

Comes to something when someone has to start using names so close to other members, all I can say is you must be getting to them and yes take the flattery lol

I have just read that the former Paperway shop in Widemarsh St could soon become a Shellfish Restaurant & Bar, that's different.

I thought that I read somewhere that they want to change this venue from a pub to a house but I cannot find where I saw that now, anyway I think it was turned down. -
I have noticed that the scaffolding has gone on the High Town photo, so within 5 years we will be free of the monstrosity. I also see that there are no coffee carts in this illustration either?

With a bit of luck this will hopefully jog a memory. This must be terrible for his family. -
ADDITIONAL CONSULTATION ON THE SOUTHERN LINK ROAD PLANNING APPLICATION. Herefordshire Council has added a further 19 documents to their Planning Application No. 151314. They include responses from the Council's agent, Parsons Brinckerhoff, (PB), to comments from statutory bodies such as Heritage England and Natural England. PB contend that their assessments of damage to heritage assets and ancient woodland should find favour with the Council's Planning Committee. Here for Hereford contend that the independence of the statutory bodies should be respected and endorsed, rather than challenged by an agent working for the applicant. PB has also provided further illustrations of landscape impacts from the scheme, such as the position of the tall radio mast located above the 9.4 metre high road bridge over the railway (Fig 2.2 rev A). There is a 'Water Framework Directive Assessment' dated September 2015 which makes no mention of the over-arching Nutrient Management Action Plan (November 2014); a report on the awaited archaeological survey which indicates evidence of an iron age fort which will be eradicated if the scheme goes ahead; a transport analysis which fails to highlight the increase in traffic flows on Greyfriars Bridge if the scheme were to be in place; a rejection of the proposal to protect trees at Pykeways, and so on – a lot to comment on. The Consultation period is scheduled to run from 8 October to 5 November. Send comments to kgibbons@herefordshire.gov.uk

I would not take a lot to put some new very bright led bulbs around these area's and would go a long way to make people feel a bit safer at least.- 45 replies
