  1. It will be interesting to see what the police have to say on Thursday but thanks for arranging this meeting Chris in the first instance, something maybe the police should of done weeks ago. I appreciate that they are doing all that they can but sometimes announcements help to reassure local people, in this day and age with social media its a lot easier to communicate with the public. I hope we have some up to date news on the cctv situation and to see if there will be extra police patrols at night along the lines and in and around Hunderton.
  2. Thats mental, surely the goal should of been to accommodate more people?
  3. This is incredible really, hard to think they have been selling fuel sine the 1920's. I never knew this garage existed until now, will have to make a point of having a look one afternoon. Nice to see it has been owned by the same family for all of this time.
  4. Thats a contradiction in itself, if someone needs to occupy 2 seats then they are clearly overweight! End of.
  5. I agree 100%, they should have a limit in place then charge for every kilo over. After all we are charged for excess baggage.
  6. Too much emphasis on the alcoholics and drug addicted people in our society, how about cutting some slack for the genuine hard working people for once, I am sick of hearing how unfortunate and how sad, bollocks, they made their choices and now everyone else is paying for them, I agree most are wasters and parasites, sorry but I have no time for these people, all self inflicted.
  7. Maybe this is where the GWW CCTV's should start, catch the buggers in the action! Has this been reported to the Council in order for it to be cleared asap does anyone know?
  8. Yes Roger of course someone will have read this and your suggestion that they can't be arsed is correct my friend. Maybe a letter to could to the HT perhaps may just jolt some action? but as per your quote they are clearly taking the pi*%.
  9. I really think we need to move on from this brownie point winning exercise and blame business, (I am sure everybody did their best) and look forward as to what can be done now.
  10. A true legend of our time and she was not that old in fairness. RIP
  11. Every little helps, good for Yates. Agree with Steve's comments above.
  12. This is topic about something terrible that has happened in our community, of course it should be discussed on HV. The police get a lot of information from social media, so I see nothing wrong with his being discussed on this forum in all honesty.
  13. Roger, the lamps may look pretty close but you need to walk long this route when its dark, only then will you appreciate how dark it actually is. With all the trees and bushes and no other form of light from cars or house it really is a spooky place at night. HD CCTV along here is a MUST!
  14. Such horrible news for the community, lets hope they catch the perpitrator very soon. RIP young man.
  15. Good luck to the lad, lets hope he can do just that.
  16. Colin your stuck between a rock and a hard place, overall my friend you do a fantastic job in my opinion.
  17. How do you get a main meal in Miller Carters for that price ragwert? Is this a lunchtime deal?
  18. Excellent
  19. Thanks for this info Martin, however, when I walked past yesterday morning it looked pretty dark, it also looks dark in the photos provided by Colin. I am sure that they will not cut down these tree's but they may have to thin them out.
  20. The houses are a lot closer to the road side and with those big tree's more or less directly outside the windows, yes these houses will be very dark inside. I assume those trees are staying? Will they be thinned out to let more light through?
  21. This was a really kind gesture on Gary's part, fair play to the man to take time out of his hectic schedule to meet with terminally ill people.
  22. Nobody is ganging up on anyone here, members are expressing themselves in imo. I like Paul and admire a lot of the work he does but I do think he let himself down recently and again this morning, his actions are bullying too its called verbal abuse and imo its still bullying for which i am speechless. A tory supporter would feel quite intimidated and bullied today reading through his recent comments, so whats the difference here? Time to move on this is getting all a tad negative now.
