Breaking News There Will Be No Coalition In Hereford!
Bill Thomas replied to Colin James's topic in Open Forum
HV make the announcements again before the HT well done Colin. -
This is all good and I know Colin has been fighting for a traffic lights out trail for many years. Joining forces is the best way to handle this but I think you have all had a positive initial meeting and as a group you will generate a bigger momentum. The more Councillors that back this campaign the better and I am sure the local Councillors as well as the IOC will be right behind you on this one. I am a keen cyclists so if we can get some extra cycle lanes provided within the shared space I will be chuffed. Well done to all who attended the meeting, you have my complete support. Lets get those lights turned off!

Welcome Cllr Norris and congratulations on your recent victory. Yes unfortuantely none of us are clever enough so we have to just listen to what we are told and not argue at all because they clearly know what's best for us, NOT! I am sure you will make a difference, good to have you as a member on HV, once again welcome to the club!

I am with you on that.

Fed up of hearing about tree's just a little, if they wanted connectivity with the historic centre then they should of planned an under cover foot bridge from the multi storey car park like CJ suggested, as it is, it is totally disjointed.

I agree traffic was much easier back then, traffic lights defeat the object to me.

Incident CCTV Hereford - Edgar street/Tesco roundabout
Bill Thomas replied to Animalmad68's topic in Hereford City
I like the idea of putting 'stay in lane' on the road signs that were suggested by Colin -
Incident CCTV Hereford - Edgar street/Tesco roundabout
Bill Thomas replied to Animalmad68's topic in Hereford City
In fairness, you do not need to call the police as long as nobody is hurt and details have been exchanged, but I am also somewhat confused because it sounds like the driver of the other vehicle basically drove into you, if I have understood this correctly? The driver came out from Edgar St as you were passing that exit yes? if this is the case it is certainly not 50/50 but i would not worry this is standard insurance practice if their part is at fault, you would be surprised at how many people would just agree with that. Did you have any witnesses? -

You have just added the link that Colin had already put in the first post, see above in the first post at the bottom of the topic where it says 'Full Details' -

Northolme Football Pitch and the madness that followed!
Bill Thomas replied to bobby47's topic in Open Forum
This is a good result all round in my opinion. I think that Phil Edwards is a bully and I do not rate him as a Councillor, never have to be honest, so he will definitely be pissed at this outcome but Councillor Vaughan-Powell may be a little controversial and very direct which I prefer, she may not always get her facts right but she is always available and you will often see her online answering questions and doing her best, so well done Councillor Vaughan-Powell have yourself a glass of bubbly tonight- 15 replies

Major service contracts roll out across Herefordshire
Bill Thomas replied to Glenda Powell's topic in Open Forum
Biomech you are 100% correct, this is a good start, NOT! Why do we accept being fobbed off all the time? I think with this new contractor the Council and it's Councillors should set a bench mark and stick to it, in other words don't put up with the rubbish excuses that Amey used to dish out. -

Reasons Why BRPC No Longer Link To Belmont Voice!
Bill Thomas replied to Colin James's topic in Open Forum
Colin, this is the reason behind why I like your website. 'FREEDOM OF SPEECH' Who the hell does she think she is with her demands? I could not of suggested a better reply than than yours , I had a chuckle Also when Liz Kelzo refers to formal proceedings I assume this is all with the tax payers money is it? I do not think she would offer the threats of legal action so quickly if it were her money do you? -
