-
Thank you Colin, most excellent work

I did not think that we could recylce tin foil cartons either but I did not say anything, glad you did now because I was getting a little confused.
-
That is £6500 more than I expected the price to be, does seem slightly on the high side but then again, I guess there is a lot of paint, still think it's a lot of money to spend on something that will be pulled down in the not too distant future.
-
wow, that is a lot of visitors, I had not seen the counter either until now, just goes to show how busy the site is becoming :Thumbs-Up:

Looks no diffeent to me, massive eye sore that's what it is

They should hold the meeting in glastonbury close, "highlight" the fly tipper there.
-
And what? What has happened since?
-
Council should send an immediate court summons in my opinion.

This is what happens when requests are ignored...

Surely this would not cost that much more? Okay you have a result but they will be coming back yet AGAIN! Next year, that will be the third visit, when they could of done this the first time. It's no wonder so much money is wasted. -
I only noticed this topic when I clicked on the "Todays Topics" tab. So has there been an update?

I cannot believe that she is only 16 years old. A very talented young lady.

Yes my point exactly, its hardly been used, new build really or maybe it's a gloryfied car park for the police cars that will not fit in the car park at the main station. I think it's disgusting! This police station would be ideal if it was open over the weekends instead of just a couple of hours per day. :Angry_32:

Another example of wasted money! and when was this new police station built....

Belmont Roundabout Keep Clear Signs
Bill Thomas replied to Colin James's topic in Hereford Voice Projects
Yes I can see that they have guidelines that they have to follow but one of the points put across was just because Amey have overpainted a road sign, that may well have been there for sometime does not necessarily make it right or legal, and once they overpaint it they then have taken full ownership and as you have said have to adhere to the guidelines set out by the DOT. So they should of replaced this yellow box with whatever the guidelines allow. This argument has merit. We all appreciate your efforts Cllr, and I can see that you were getting frustated with some of the comments but to be fair most of the comments that have been made are good ones. -
Belmont Roundabout Keep Clear Signs

But you not addressing the points raised Cllr. You are annoyed as per your response and refusing to give out the further information from Amey? It is clear to me that there is no consistency as in other areas they have yellow boxes and the other members have put up a legitimate argument, they are not being funny with you or disagreeing with you but they have raised issues which I think need addressing. -
Just worked out how to do it, thank you for the tutorial
-
Yes the green signs have that nice country look about them, they have my vote

Ooops, looks like the Cllr has thrown her rattle out of the pram I am sorry but this is a very good debate and some of the points that are being raised I too believe have merit. Phil Rowe has given a sensible reply -
Traffic Lights Out Today & Traffic Was Fine

Yes, I think I have to agree with you on that one. -
Traffic Lights Out Today & Traffic Was Fine
Bill Thomas replied to Bill Thomas's topic in Open Forum
Well if your coming from Hunderton towards town the lights only let about 4 cars thru, then they change to red again, priorities are all wrong. Traffic flows better when they are not working. Do not know why they have traffic lights there. -

Pictures speak volumes eh -
The nighmare traffic lights at the Asda roundabout were out of order today for a short time and the traffic moved better when they were off. What does that tell you...

Belmont Roundabout Keep Clear Signs
Bill Thomas replied to Colin James's topic in Hereford Voice Projects
After looking at the first couple of pictures surely the person who painted these must of realised that these signs are far to small and would be ineffective? Any car coming out from any of these junctions will be actually be over the sign, hiding it. What a complete waste of time, this will have to be rectified now. -
I was under the impression that a new youth club was to be built?
