Marks and Spencer’s lorry is stuck in the snow and is blocking access East Street into St Ethelbert Hereford. The lorry is totally stuck and is need of assistance.

Well in Poland they stop gritting with salt once the temp is -12 or -14. We can assume once below -9 were on dodgy ground.

Salt and gritting will work to -14c then is will not work.

I took these photographs at 19.30 in Hereford this evening and as you can see the road conditions are pretty bad. This snow is like a powder and the wind is causing blizzard type conditions add this to the current -4 temperature and this is the result. The forecast is that it is only going to get worse overnight.
