Fraudulent banks, utility companies and corrupt courts
megilleland replied to megilleland's topic in Open Forum
Guy Taylor has been off the radar recently, but has made a comeback in Aberystwyth Magistrates this week with interesting results. UK Column report here - starts at beginning of programme. Note this report of same clerk of court (Michael Cray) who obviously enjoys taking matters into his own hands. Maybe trying to emulate another Welshman from history the infamous Judge Jeffries. -

Cameron's Referendum flyer opposed by Election Commission Published Apr 07, 2016

David Cameron to push case to remain in EU with £9m publicity blitz How many libraries could be kept open with 9 million pounds? Any other suggestions on how to spend the money. Just send it back to 10 Downing Street, London SW1A 2AA marked "Return to Sender" or "Refused". Cameron should then get the message. Royal Mail shares should get a boost after this mailing!

Cameron appears to like piggies a lot. Appears he has been putting other things into them. Source The Independent However, Reddit user DanGliesack has given an excellent analogy on why the leak of the Panama Papers is so important: Quote When you get a quarter you put it in the piggy bank. The piggy bank is on a shelf in your closet. Your mom knows this and she checks on it every once in a while, so she knows when you put more money in or spend it. Now one day, you might decide 'I don't want mom to look at my money.' So you go over to Johnny's house with an extra piggy bank that you're going to keep in his room. You write your name on it and put it in his closet. Johnny's mom is always very busy, so she never has time to check on his piggy bank. So you can keep yours there and it will stay a secret. Now all the kids in the neighbourhood think this is a good idea, and everyone goes to Johnny's house with extra piggy banks. Now Johnny's closet is full of piggy banks from everyone in the neighbourhood. One day, Johnny's mom comes home and sees all the piggy banks. She gets very mad and calls everyone's parents to let them know. Now not everyone did this for a bad reason. Eric's older brother always steals from his piggy bank, so he just wanted a better hiding spot. Timmy wanted to save up to buy his mom a birthday present without her knowing. Sammy just did it because he thought it was fun. But many kids did do it for a bad reason. Jacob was stealing people's lunch money and didn't want his parents to figure it out. Michael was stealing money from his mom's purse. Fat Bobby's parents put him on a diet, and didn't want them to figure out when he was buying candy. Now in real life, many very important people were just caught hiding their piggy banks at Johnny's house in Panama. Today their moms all found out. Pretty soon, we'll know more about which of these important people were doing it for bad reasons and which were doing it for good reasons. But almost everyone is in trouble regardless, because it's against the rules to keep secrets no matter what. So if someone tells you that it should hardly come as a surprise that rich people are "bending the rules" or that the Panama Papers are "no big deal", tell them that they are. They are a massive deal. Also just a reminder HMRC actually rents its HQ from a company registered in a tax haven.

Hereford MP to chair EU referendum discussion meetings Is he going to be covering both the In and Out sides? If he is not sure how he is going to vote will it be on a show of hands? His last meeting is on May 27th - one month before the vote. Left it a bit late for a reasoned discussion. Can't see many people attending looking at the timings of the meetings. It looks as if it will be a gathering of the party faithful getting their final orders to back Dave.

EU Referendum scaremongering stories - both sides
megilleland replied to megilleland's topic in Open Forum
Agree. If the public vote out then Cameron and his present governent cannot continue in office. A general election will have to be called. However all the main parties except UKIP are hell bent on keeping us in, and would therefore say, if they won with the usual minority of votes, they had a mandate to commit us once again to the EU. Let's chuck out the lot of them and get on to run our country with a decent democratic system representing the interests of its citizens and not the elite few and their donating corporations. -

Came home from work along the Great Western Way this afternoon at 4pm and noted the tidiness of the route as a result of the clean up with Wally. All the rubbish has been collected and put in black bags and left by the waste bins. I imagine some bright sparks will try to rearrange the bags and scatter them across the path overnight. Let's hope the bags are still intact when Balfour Beatty pick them up.

Guy Taylor interview on UK Column concerning his arrest on Sunday with no warrant. Starts at 06:05 into programme. UK Column also highlighted treatment of bailiffs (starts at 22:20) who bullied woman to pay fine for dropping a cigarette butt in Wigan, but she doesn't smoke and has never been to Wigan. Story also covered here in Daily Mail. -
Roger, all the bins on Great Western Way above have also been emptied. If by chance they are emptied every week on Mondays then it just shows how much litter is generated by our peoples lifestyles.

Balfour Beatty must be saving this rubbish up for Lizzie's 100th birthday! Six bins from ALDI along Great Western Way to Widemarsh Common photos taken this afternoon. Beggars belief and that does not include the rubbish along the verges.
-
The Guardian 12 March 2016 And we are looking to house more people from outside the country when we can't look after those already here. What a state of affairs. and A postive contribution.
-
All the bins this morning between Aldi and Widemarsh Common along the Great Western Way are all stuffed to overflowing with piles of rubbish scattered around the bottom of the bin. Yes it says alot about the state of the City not only environmentally, but also the lack of interest of those in a postion to do something about it.

The Guardian 7th March 2016 Comment from The Guardian by kafcat I'm not sure which is the bigger extortion racket,Turkey or the EU. Turkey - gets €3bn off the EU to take back illegal immigrants they should never have let through in the first place. The EU - gets €12.8bn out of us and the right to dump their economic migrants on us. In return for......well.... not a lot really. Come to think of it - EU is clearly worse. Brexit. Yes I think we are getting shafted from both sides. These politicians would be at home in the Mafia - anyone like protection?
