I think you could be right Bobby. It does appear the USA is the driving force in stirring up dissent and chaos across the globe and it looks as if they have been at it for a long time. UNITED STATES INTERVENTIONS SINCE 1945 REGIME CHANGE, MILITARY INTERVENTIONS, COVERT OPERATIONS, COUPS AND ATTEMPTED COUPS, ELECTION INTERFERENCE, COLOR REVOLUTIONS Philippines, South Korea, Lebanon, Iran, Guatemala, Cuba, Rep. They share the traits of psychopaths who are not sensitive to altruistic appeals, such as sympathy for their victims or remorse or guilt over their crimes. They possess the personality traits of lying, narcissism, selfishness, and vanity. These are the people to whom we have entrusted our fate. Is it any wonder that America [or UK?] is failing at home and world-wide?" More great observations and quotes to make you think the worst here at Third World Traveller.

Salaries and empires rise expotentionally to the reduction and cuts in services, so that eventually there will be one big chief and no indians. Not a directorship more like a dictatorship.

Brian Gerrish highlighting on todays live UK column Common Purpose training in our society and how it is working against us. There is also a large forum on this charitable organisation and its background.

In view of the post above (21), I don't think DC is going to get many votes from the youth of the country. Shame that most of them won't vote and still get taken for a ride. However his plan will make the unemployment figures great reading before the election. Looks like another case of child abuse to me.

I am afraid Balfour Beatty and our Councillors are not interested in the state of the our City and County. One only has to look at our surroundings to realise nothing is being done by the authorities to bring back a sense of pride in our environment. Everywhere you go in the city seems to be a rubbish tip, all the paths are litter strewn and the waste bins overflowing. The county road verges are trailed with empty food packages and drink tins and together with fly tipping and blocked drains a picture of neglect prevails in this tourist destination. This problem has not just come about today but has preoccupied the Hereford Voice forum for many years. The trouble is all the authorities blame one another and pass the buck. There is no policy to clean up our surroundings. The Council and Balfour Beatty do not want to recycle the rubbish and by not picking it up, save themselves the landfill tax and more goes into their profits. They are waiting for the grass to grow again in the Spring and hide it for another year. We are also going to be paying a lot of money for an incinerator, the initial capital cost for the project is reported to be more than £160 million, but opponents claim ongoing maintenance will at least double this over the 25 years while the cost using PFI funding could triple. How many road and street sweepers could we employ locally with this sort of money. Here are links highlighting past issues, many of which are still ongoing today. The Town Centre is Disgusting The High Town Bomb Site That bomb-site in High Town! I told you it would get worse! Petition: Reverse Decision To Reduce Grass Cutting Litter, flytipping, graffiti and other eyesores Litter, litter everywhere! Brownfield sites Lack of grass cutting around the city and county! Overgrown Mess! Who is responsible for tree cutting? Nothing has been done! Waste Incinerator Debate If the council isn't ferreting away our council tax, they are certainly burning our hard earned cash. The council pleading they need millions for this and for that, but do nothing to make the average citizen's life more pleasant - no grass cutting, no bus services, no sport, no heritage or culture, nothing for the young. They couldn't care less - it's not about the service, it's about getting the contracts signed for their private friends and passing the decision making for the future over to the unelected Marches Local Enterprise Partnership. The time has come not to sweep this issue under the carpet, but to tell us how they are going to tidy up Hereford and the county. If they can't let the electorate put them in the bin!

With no city buses running to Newton Farm after 7pm you are more likely to see a Boeing 747 coming down Belmont Road than a Stagecoach 74/74A.

80 days to go and still not much sense coming out, just divisive comment and backstabbing, and to think we could be in the same position after the election. Now that is frightening. I see the Church of England urges EU integration in letter to main Westminster parties. Won't be long before we have an Archbishop of Europe and then we can have another Holy War with the Vatican.

Knowing this government it is a rendition flight. Anyone check the inside for any "passengers". Silly me we don't do that sort of thing do we!

Saw this on BBC3 the other night - better than imagined. May get under 25s out to vote one hopes. On iPlayer for the next 27 days. Countdown timer to General Election 7th May 2015

This planning permission from 2009 has a background statement. Mentions the Grace Church.

Even though this was categorically denied at the Three Counties consultation. I don't believe them.

I see Nigel Farage has delivered the UKIP General Election Launch. Full speech here - Feb 2015. Note that he covers many points raised by Guardian reader above.

That's the hours I am working.

For those of us that cannot get there due to work, I hope that someone, ie The Hereford Times, is covering this and will tell us what is going on.

I've been told it has been adjourned till June, although not confirmed. -
Tuesday 10 February 2015 in Hereford Times News by Paul Broome I heard on H&W radio that there is a plan to pint a large mural about the history of the Herefordshire Regiment.

While at the other end of society the sleaze continues. The Guardian today I see HSBC have moved on after laundering profits for Mexican drug cartels, while ordinary people seeking help with financial problems get passed by and their assets stolen. Meanwhile, while a lot of people are resorting to food banks Enough said.
