New Black Bins, Max 4 Bags a Fortnight - f*** Off
megilleland replied to Biomech's topic in Open Forum
Instead of picking up black bags one week and green bins the next, why can't they pick up both on the same day. This woud be clearer for those that can't think beyond today. Also we would only get the dust carts up the street once every two weeks and get a quiet lie in every other week. -
New Black Bins, Max 4 Bags a Fortnight - f*** Off
megilleland replied to Biomech's topic in Open Forum
Walking through Sherborne Close over the week end and yet again notice residents' black bags put out early for Tuesday collection. Also fly-tiping behind the electric sub-station. Nothing odd about that. It is a regular occurence even though I have drawn atttention to this problem since June 2010! However I was thinking maybe their collection day has changed with the new arrangements. But this cannot be the case as so many people have put black bags out for collection on Tuesday. If they were unaware or couldn't be bothered that their collection date has changed then that means these black bags could be left outside for another week. The area as it stands is a total disgrace and the council and Herefordshire Housing need to sort this out now. I also notice stray black bags all over the estate so someone needs to get on top of this before we are up to our necks in rubbish. Roger has pointed out that the large wheelie bins for mutli-occupation houses and flats provide the best answer - why don't they do it! -
Watched the commons debate last night regarding the twists and turns the Conservatives and Labour were making regarding the European Arrest Warrant. Well worth a watch to see how political parties try to slip legisaltion through without proper debate and attention. Many MPs from both sides were perplexed as to what they were actually debating and voting for on the night. I thought the speaker did well to keep it in order and there was a fair bit of humour as well. if the MPs do not understand what the government is trying to push through on the nod then it is good to see some well informed MPs pull them up. Bill Wiggin who was speaking against the EAW gave an example of one of his constituents who had fallen fallen of the EAW, but got pulled up for going into too much detail of the case. Good to see him showing concern for a UK citizen whereas Theresa said that only 5% of UK citizens get caught up in the EAW - so we should go along with it. Not very good if you are one of the 5%. The debate starts at 16:24:10, Bill Wiggins piece is at 19:44:20. The debate finished at 20:35:00.

Couldn't find any definitive answer. My estimate for the roads are - the Link Road approx 780 metres (0.48 miles) and the SLR approx 3050 metres (1.9 miles) or the SLR is 4 times longer than the Link Road.

Fraudulent banks, utility companies and corrupt courts
megilleland replied to megilleland's topic in Open Forum
Roger, not sure what you mean by "appears to co-operate with the Court process". I think he has had to fight to prove the claims brought against him are fraudulent and if the court wants to delay matters, so justice can be done, then it is a price worth paying. After all the ball is in the CPS's court and they appear unable to provide evidence against Guy Taylor as requested by the judge over 42 days ago. When they present that evidence then it will open to scrutiny and proper legal decisions made. -
Someones taken their facebook pages down. That wouldn't be Theresa by any chance?

I have drawn the route on this OS map. Easier to see, although not 100% accurate. At least they miss Hayleasow Woods.

Cycled over the new bridge and along the Greenway to Rotherwas Chapel (English Heritage) today for the public launch of a new book funded through the Heritage Lottery Fund. Would make a good Christmas present. A marvellous effort by the group to record an important area of history close to the city. Also an opportunity to sample local apple juice and cider. Nice to see Grid Knocker present - I don't think he cycled there!

Noticed two Home Office vans opposite Barclays Bank at 4.15pm today. Their people were in S&S News, but I don't think buying newspapers.

Fraudulent banks, utility companies and corrupt courts
megilleland replied to megilleland's topic in Open Forum
Looks like a case of obfuscating on the part of the court. 1. ie to confuse, bewilder, or stupefy. 2. to make obscure or unclear: "to obfuscate a problem with extraneous information". 3. to darken. Not really transparent is it? -
Herefordshire Council Newsroom 7th November 2014 According to the report and Hereford Times this route will cost £25 million which appears amazingly cheap when compared with the costs for the city Link Road. Note that this route is furthest out from the city - no doubt so it can be infilled with housing. The loss of woodland at Grafton Wood should be compensated with planting of trees and screening along route.

Fraudulent banks, utility companies and corrupt courts

Guy Taylor's hearing this Friday (7th November) appears to be in chaos as the courts were in confusion as to where the hearing was to be held. No CPS at Hereford and following various phone calls by officials, Guy was advised to be available until 4pm. Still no advice from courts so Guy Taylor will be at the magistrates court on Monday to follow this up. -
Cllr Jim Kenyon Q&A Balfour Beattie Contract
megilleland replied to Colin James's topic in Open Forum
Herefordshire Council Newsroom 7th November 2014 It makes you wonder what was agreed when BB managed to get £20 million a year off the council for the next 10 years. Or was the problem that the council never had the money to pay them and it is the council that have reduced the services for residents and decided that the grass will not be cut regularly? Obviously a deal between them that provides poor value for money for residents and rate payers. The roadshow visit seems very restricted, but no doubt will suffice for public consultation.- 54 replies

If it weren't for this bloke, HCC's "legal eagle" may never have landed

Bit different to the man who was let go at the end of a temporary job and has now been ordered by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to work for the same firm for six months without pay. John McArthur, 59, says he is surviving on a monthly pension of £149 after the DWP stopped his unemployment benefit until January as punishment for his refusal to go on the 26-week community work placement (CWP). -

Fraudulent banks, utility companies and corrupt courts

Talking with Guy Taylor in Birmingham at the weekend here is an update: In August Guy Taylor was removed from Bodenham Manor and charged under the Legal Aid and Sentencing Act 2012 as being a trespasser, this charge claimed is clearly nonsense and unsupportable so he made an application that the CPS present proof of ownership documents to support their charge, they were given 42 days by the judge which was up on October 22nd. On the 16th of October the CPS made an application in Worcester Magistrates for an extension of time as "the prosecutor dealing with this had been on holiday" which again is total nonsense and they are just trying it on, if they havent already got this evidence then on what basis was Guy Taylor charged in the first place! Anyway the judge gave them until November 7th to produce them so it will be most interesting to see what they will come up with on Friday at Hereford Magistrates Court. Also when he was first carrried out of Bodenham Manor on April 2nd 2014 by numerous police and bailiffs they used a fraudulent writ to remove him, that means that his removal was unlawful and the physical carrying of him off the property was assault. He successfully laid the information for this before the Court on October 8th and the director of the bailiff company (UK Evict) Michael Anderson has been summoned to appear in Hereford Magistrates Court on November 19th charged with assault (further charges concerning the fraudulent writ are being processed). -

Decision notice. The Bullying of Disabled Council Staff
megilleland replied to WirralPC's topic in Open Forum
Remember this: The Conservatives have deleted every article, speech and press release released before the last election from their website. The documents contain pre-2010 election pledges on cutting inheritance, not imposing 'pointless reorganisations' of the NHS. -

Transparency at its worst. This is happening throughout all areas and levels of government. People open your eyes before we are all permanently in the dark.
