Poland has southern borders with Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Refugees aren't interested in either due to ridiculously low wages and Slovakia doesn't politically like/want Muslims full stop. So Poland's main struggle will probably be with Brussels as opposed to having to build a giant fence on their southern border as there won't be a wave of anything approaching it.

Police Seize Cigarettes From 'Kurdish Owned' European Shop
Roger replied to Colin James's topic in Police & Crime
It's a bit of a joke situation with Zabka because this is the quote from the HT when Zardashit Sahl got his booze licence 12 months ago. So armed with an existing suspicion, and obviously cheesed off with the committee decision to give him a licence, you would think Zabka would be #1 shop on the list for Trading Standards to keep an eye on. So why was he allowed to sell his illegal tobacco for 12 months before he got raided? I think TS might have been a bit unlucky when they went in as the amount of stuff recovered is barely more than a personal use quantity. People caught with 20 times the amount don't go to jail so he will just get a slapped wrist. -
There is one comment on that HT article which the paper has deleted. It was mine. I asked how old the child was if he/she wasn't three. Obviously too controversial a question to be left on there! I don't think naming and shaming the parents' would achieve very much as that would drag the child into it.

Telegraph The EU HQ (our HQ effectively) is about 2 km from Molembeek which is a criminal/jihadist hotbed tolerated by the Belgium Authorities .... The nutters there may well have EU passports and can drift into the UK at will if they are not on a radar. We obviously need 100% control of our borders today. I don't even want to wait for the 23rd June vote ....

Police Seize Cigarettes From 'Kurdish Owned' European Shop
Roger replied to Colin James's topic in Police & Crime
All the shop has to do to get the booze licence back is to front up a candidate with no record in this Country and who can demonstrate no connection with the previous dodgy regimes. Surely that can't be hard? You just need to shuffle some people and paper about .... -
I don't think it's safe, or realistic, for three lanes of traffic to be rushing from those lights to meet a squeezed area past that box junction. I would hope that people have sat down today to think about any necessary 'tweaking' of the temporary plans in place ....

Police Seize Cigarettes From 'Kurdish Owned' European Shop

I've never shopped in Zabka but I would guess they weren't producing a suspicious can of beer from under the counter if you gave a special wink or were a well known customer. I still haven't seen any suggestion that they were infringing any alcohol rules. But obviously you shouldn't be holding a booze licence if you are carrying out other criminal activities. -
Story is now in the HT ... Council deny that the child was 3 years old .....

Not looking good on Ross Road approaching 10.00 .... Also traffic backed up to Wyevale according to @realdjlocke on Twitter

Will our Eton educated MP (Jesse Norman) be there?

Jeremy has tried the nice, civilised. approach .... Total failure ... He needs to get down and dirty .... A few snidey comments at PMQ's .... Throw a bit of dirt ..... He has got to get into the cesspit.
-
Jeremy is obviously intelligent and he's chosen this out of left field, tangential and 'off the wall' approach for several months now. It just isn't working. He got a bit angry today but he never lands any sort of real blow in the chamber.

Zabka up before the Council again on 24.03.16 for a proper hearing about the recent raid. Link Photo images available re: tobacco seized. -
One or two people on this forum may have noticed that the Tory Party imploded over the weekend with IDS letting off a grenade. Cameron had to face the music in The Commons today and he really looked like he might be a bit vulnerable. Up steps Corbyn and he forgets to mention IDS at all. I mean ..... The guy is on a totally different wavelength/planet. Just like when the big news just before a PMQ's was the junior doctor strike and he never mentioned the subject once .... Telegraph

They are doing their best to manufacture an internal destruction obviously. Everything is on hold really until after the referendum result (apart from posturing or silence as in Jesse's case) as an out result would be a game changer.

This thread on this website from 2013 seems to suggest Amey were responsible. I'm not sure tho if BB took all their stuff on. Is the shopping trolley from 2013 still there?

Yeah .... Good job she wasn't caught smoking in the wrong place or littering .... Otherwise that would have landed her in some serious bother ... I think they probably let her off this meat theft as she probably hasn't paid off her fines from her last appearance at the same court three months ago. Where she was sentenced for doing the same sort of thing at a different shop. Link. In fact she's still on a community order for pulling that stunt. Whatever one of those is ...

Not the point being made .....

Paddy Power have Jesse at 40/1 so worth a £2 bet I think .... As the Tory Party is imploding .... Jesse very quiet .....
-
Jesse has been so quiet recently that I'd be tempted to put £2 quid on him being next leader. Rather like a Leicester bet. They were 5000/1 at the start of the season. Tory Party is in turmoil ....

You got 'Poland' into the equation so that will stir the pot even further!

New tactic from midnight last night in Greece was to kettle arrivals in some camp and send them back if they don't register for asylum in Greece. Obviously everyone wants to get to the UK/Sweden/Germany so how that will work is anyone's guess ....
