I'm no fan of his style of trying to find a scandal under any establishment stone he may stumble across but I'd defend his right to say what he does. He needs to sort his tie out from today's transmission tho ....

Public Space Protection Order - 'anti social behaviour' law 2014
Roger replied to Bilbobobby's topic in Open Forum
More councils threatening homeless people with £1000 fines for begging and rough sleeping Mirror I'm unaware of any of these orders in Hereford. I don't think there's much cash to be made out of it so probably why. Far easier to kick the living daylights out of parking. I think you could easily get a PSPO on the Great Western Way. 2 murders in 6 years and numerous people robbed/battered. -
A 15 year old boy was recently reported to the Police by his school for viewing 'politically incorrect websites, indicating extremist views'. He'd been looking at a UKIP website. So the authorities are already investigating people who might not be thinking in a way that fits in with the total mainstream. Independent

As far as I know The Queen is not scheduled to visit Herefordshire at all this year. So cleaning FOR HRH is misleading as she won't see any of the results in person. I agree with the other comments made. We've already paid for the 'cleaning' in Council Tax. So I won't be dragging myself out with a broom to do it for free. Also the miscreants sentenced to do 'unpaid work' at the Magistrates Court should be out there 365 days a year supplementing the minimal Council efforts. I don't know what the current type of unpaid work is that these people are tasked with but I've previously seen it involved making bird boxes in a cosy indoor environment.

Ex-Greek Minister Varoufakis To Advise Corbyn Former Greek finance minister Yanis Varoufakis has won a new role advising Jeremy Corbyn's Labour Party. Mr Varoufakis quit the Greek government in July last year after refusing to accept the terms of a third bailout, which imposed further austerity measures on the debt-stricken country. Mr Corbyn says Mr Varoufakis has recently met shadow chancellor John McDonnell and will advise Labour in "some capacity". Sky News

Public Space Protection Order - 'anti social behaviour' law 2014
Roger replied to Bilbobobby's topic in Open Forum
Victoria Street underpass in Hereford would benefit from a PSPO ..... There must be decades of stuff recorded about the begging/assaults and general crime that goes on down there .... Not to mention the bikes that regularly zoom through .... Obviously everyone has read about the woman battered down there recently .... And that was at tea time. Not even late ... -
In Hereford zapping 'parking' is a low risk cash cow. Sorting out the taxi stuff is never gonna hit the radar Lots of effort for little monetary return ....

Despicable. Offenders' might live not far away. Who knows? Security seems to be gravitating down to 'do it yerself' ..... As evidenced by the shops all having guards .... Nursery Prices I'd suggest getting some night security for that nursery. About the cost of two fees per day ..... Not brilliant but patrols are a thing of the past!

I walked past the car wash today. The queue was out of the door ..... The workers were like bees. There must be some sort of gangmaster raking in some sort of profit. Where do the car washers' sleep at night?

I see the 'saltfish' FB page has changed it's name to 'Spread Eagle' ..... I can't vouch for any change in frontage/decor/appearance but binning the new name in 5 minutes is a sign of a struggling venue I think ....
