Couldn't ever understand why he spent so much time here - perhaps he's banned in the Wirral? It's Hereford Voice - we can't deal with all the ills in the world, Hereford is challenging enough. Having been subjected to his extreme abuse, I blocked his posts so I didn't have to see them, but that doesn't make it right. If you have banned him then that is absolutely the right thing to have done. Sorry bobby47, but I am certainly no poorer for it.

Saving The Working Boys Home *UPDATE*
twowheelsgood replied to dippyhippy's topic in Hereford Voice Projects
Particularly as Bramer was re-elected. Local tories go into a leadership election tomorrow - let's see what that brings - it'll either be terrible or really terrible ... We do however have a very strong new Central Ward Councillor in IOC's Len Tawn. -
megilleland has already linked this self congratulatory bit of fluff from the Council (post 175). "In its recommendations, the group said it would like to see the council work with BBLP to make it easier for small, local organisations to engage with BBLP and bid for sub-contractor opportunities." Here's an idea to make it easier for a small local organisation - use direct labour instead of BB. Everyone wins, except the shareholders.

Well, that is a nice gesture - good for them and good for you for sticking to your principals for 12 years.

Its not showing under 'applications registered in the last 7 days' so they haven't got round to it yet.

Contact him - details will be on the Council's website when they pull their finger out. Or try an old fashioned letter to 12A Stroucken Way, Holmer, Hereford, HR4 9RE. But don't worry about the flood risk sign - we don't need to waste money twice ... -
Saxon Gate - what on earth is going on? Council now decide irregularities are ok after all, so they're only going to re-run the Parish election ... http://www.herefordtimes.com/news/12942298.Herefordshire_Council_election___Tories_to_hold_Saxon_Gate/

Its on the council website, but only individually for each ward (on the declaration). https://www.herefordshire.gov.uk/government-citizens-and-rights/democracy/herefordshire-council-elections/herefordshire-election-results I haven't seen an overall average. Here are some of them; Tupsley 73% Central 60% Whitecross 62% Hinton 49% Newton Farm 45% Saxon gate 54% Bobblestock 59% College 54% Eign Hill 71% Greyfriars 63%
-
I certainly would, particularly when a number of seats have polled such close results.

Going back to Saxon gate for a moment, here is the Declaration. It shows 26 spoilt votes, and doesn't define how (unusual). How then was it subsequently found that 400 or so votes were spoiled by voting for more than one candidate (allegedly on the advice of one of the polling clerks)? Further, looking at some of the other Declarations, many have 20-40 spoilt votes marked for '(a) Want of Official Mark'. How can this be? Can people be smuggling in dodgy ballot papers in such quantities over a wide area? Really? Or is it the polling clerks messing up the 'official mark'? With several IOC candidates missing out by just a few votes, this does seem odd to me.
-
It is the Church Commissioners rather than the 'Church'. 1. Goes back centuries - accept that they have title to it and move on. 2. Not really open to disclosure I imagine - no different to any private land sale/deal. 3. Ditto. Better to ask - how much will the Section 106 obligation monies be and what will the council do with them?
-
A third of all papers spoilt - that seems unbelievable! There is something VERY odd there …
-
For some reason the HT live feed didn't show Aylestone Hill - been waiting all blooming day for that - Marcelle Lloyd-Hayes took it for IOC, but only by 29 votes against the new independent Ange Tyler.
