Gentle Giant , the person that asked you if you are Bobby47 is not the first person to presume quite wrongly that Bobby 47 has been identified - I know for certain that some posters have had a sit in outside the Commercial asking the drunks who stagger out if they are Bobby - the replies received range from " Do I look like a @@@@@@@ Policeman " to "No way , he's still inside drinking his 6 pints of Carlsberg " and " His Carer doesn't collect him for another hour ".

Jean , you say that you log off - I never do and it appears I am back in straight away when I revisit HV , to date I have had no problems , if an HV geek tells me I am wrong and I should log off every time then I am wrong so ignore this bit if advice.

I have never met Cllr Glenda nor can I vote for her , only because I do not live on her patch , I know that as others have done I have disagreed with her , but it's a free world and we are all entitled to different views - it's the way we say opinions - I believe that I am respectful when I type my opinions and I have always found Cllr Glenda to be the same . Cllr Glenda , if I lived on your patch I would vote for you - I wish you every success in your dreams , good health always.xx

Roger , thanks for that , I am in Queenswood Ward, looking at the length of it , from the Roman Rd , Hereford to the close outskirts of Leominster, thinking what they / we have saved on a reduction of County Councillors they will be spending on mileage and refreshment allowance . Because of the size of the "Patch" I just wonder if we will receive the same excellent Service as previous ?

Bobby , I should think that you are not far from the truth - Just a thought , perhaps if Amanda has made a complaint it will be best ( for the time being ) to keep her own council and let Justice etc take its course . Drawling said ( twice ) - - a refreshing change indeed from some of the posts I have seen here. Just my thought and opinion, I know that I am not the most articulate when it comes to posting on this Forum , but I do post , to the best of my ability and there are others who probably are similar to me - but we post our thoughts and opinions to the best of our ability - if there was any set standard for posting I am sure that the Admin would have us sit a test / examination ! I accept fully that the posts from both Bobby and Bilbobobby were well thought out and very relevant as usual .

Just amazed that it will finish up in Crown Court with Judge and jury - of course I presume that the Officer dealing will have to submit a report / file to the CPS for them to decide if it should be taken further .

Amanda , I read your post last night and thought about it during the night - what happened to your Partner was an absolute disgrace and to my mind the more publicity it gets the better . I hope by now you have made an official complaint to the West Mercia Police and the PCC. I am sure that Officers from Hereford Police Station read these Posts and maybe making their own enquiries or in a couple of cases getting their story "straight" . You Partner was so correct to refuse a Police Caution , which as you know is an admittance of guilt . I hope that he has no lasting effects from the way he was treated. He must be prepared for a hard time in Court , I presume that if it does go to Court there will be at least three Officers giving evidence of his words and actions - hopefully his Solicitor will have sight of any CCTV recordings in the Police St. Finally , we all know that there are a very high number of Police Officers doing a very good job in Serving the Public especialy in the larger towns and cities away from West Mercia and not getting any publicity .

Dippy , I gave you a +1 in anticipation of a sticky bun - if you came to Sainsbury's between 10 and 12 whilst I was assisting the Mayor with his chosen Charities including SSAFA with a sticky bun - it's apparent that you stuffed it into somebody else's open mouth. Disappointed once again. As an aside it was interesting to talk to the Mayor and his Deputy ( the Mayors Father in Law ) about the IOC .

Re Cllr Charles Nicholls , he is not my Ward Cllr but I have met him on many occasions when both he and I have " turned out " to support and collect for the present Mayors Charities , one of which is SSAFA . I have found him to be a very hard working , knowledgable person , Hereford born and breed and very proud of it . As you said , if he gets relected in May he should become the Citys Mayor - he will be so proud and do a super job . As an aside but relevant , the Mayor's Charity will be collecting at Sainsburys tomorrow , Saturday from 10 to about 4pm . I will be there 10 -12 . Would be great to meet some of you.

Walked up Maylord St today , the first time for some time , 6 shops closed and empty . As an aside , went to Argos today - purchased a Radio / Cassette , came out feeling that it might be closing soon , or the Staff need training ! Mrs U remarked the same.

Cannot recall any previous Elections having so much hype / coverage / interviews / red settees / etc etc . I am interested in the Local Election but as for the National Election it's a big switch off for me .

The Independant Councillor for Burghill etc ,Cllr Sally Robertson is Standing Down in May for family reasons . She is a very good Community Cllr . Really involved with her patch . There is a nominated person , name unknown at this time who is Standing as an Independant .

I am wondering if it's what they will call " Snagging " doing repairs , touch ups etc. after the building has been open for , in this case 12 months ? Having said that , it looks pretty serious . Surprised that they or HCC haven't released a Press Release stating what they are doing after 12 months successful trading . Re the title of this Post " Efflorescence On the Walls " today I thought that the brickwork looked pretty good and the efflorescence had disappeared .

Colin and Cllr Vaughen well done , and another well done to BB workers ........ I think that in most occupations / professions the Foot Soldiers are hard working honest people , it's , to my mind the Supervisors / Managers who are the problem .
