For every one of these jobs that's advertised in the public domain there's many more created internally. Managers write proposals for front line services to be cut write their own job description and slip in a salary increase at the same time! Does anyone know what's become of the Chief Exec? What exactly does this man do and can we do without him? Come to think of it there's a number of suits we could well do without! Tony if you're reading this they will be your downfall!

I would like to ask Cllr Johnson, Since January 2013 How many new management positions have been created and what is the combined salary? How many new posts have been created which command a salary of £30,000 but with no line management responsibility? How many existing managers received a pay increase? How many front line staff were made redundant and what was the salary savings? Finally how much money did the Council save by reducing the grass cutting?

Dippy I admire your optimism but I've seen it time and time again, in fact I would have been disappointed if Tony hadn't made the effort to change public opinion before the motion in September, it's also telling that IOC are on the line up. What exactly is the objective here? It's a PR exercise and the best outcome in my humble opinion would be for everyone to stay away! I lost interest when I read questions in advance! I'm not interested in the PR departments point of view, I want Tony to speak from the heart and know his subject matter! You have one for me Dippy make it a double lol

Ok I'm up to speed probably not on the same page as everyone else but that's not unusual! Im not confident anything will change, I don't see IOC changing their previous stance! I think they have their eye firmly on the May election and they want the Current administration to continue along this destructive path! Any change to the current administration or Cabinet will not serve IOCs objectives. That said I'm happy to be shot down.

Dip I'm totally confused, I blame the Gin! The vote to rid us of Cabinet and impose a new system isn't that the same thing Cllr Johnson offered in the article above? I mean what's the difference? Also we have two IOC Councillors making different statements one voting yes and the other saying no way!

I responded to Bobby's post on a personal level and to be honest I didn't even think about you after I read the first paragraph. Please accept my sincere apologies if you felt anything I said was directed at you. Please be assured that nothing I've said is directed at you Bobby or anyone else it's my own reflections on Bobby's post. I certainly never thought Bobby's post was being directed at you, from what I know about Bobby he was merely reflecting and asking the rest of us to think and reflect, well that was my understanding. I would actually like to thank you for making me think, not something I generally do before I fire off my rants!! I have seen and have suffered bullying and harassment by the Council administration and I make no apologies for standing up for myself and others like me! Exactly Cllr Powell, I don't think you will get the named vote through! I have an insight into IOC as I'm sure you do, I'm waiting for the rest of the public to catch on! I am amazed that no one realises that the only way to gain any credibility is to be open, honest and transparent! Your popularity Cllr Powell is in part due to your honesty, as soon as the other parties catch on to the secret of popularity the better their parties will do! It's not complicated prove your honesty and integrity and the rest will follow!!!
