For those that are not aware when a housing development is built a CIL's charge is made by the Council. Once upon a time this payment was used in the area affected by the development. This has now changed to those that have Neighbourhood Plans receive 25% of the charge those that do not have a NDP receive 15%. The remaining amount goes to the Council. This is quite a considerable amount of money going into the coffers of the Council but is little mentioned and is fairly ironic that the people who have actively objected to the Link Road and the SLR find that the money that should have been spent to improve their community is now being used on some white elephant. I may have my facts not quite spot on and if anybody is the wiser please correct me.

I am not a cycle person for various reasons but I think I have missed the point here but why is it just cycle rides for women? Another ridiculous waste of money but it probably meets some criteria for providing "safe rides for women" mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!

Strangely enough Slim I was told the same today they have no money left in their budget. I do not know when their financial year starts/end but hard(er) times ahead. Nobody in HC seems to be holding BBLP to account whether HC have lost the will or whether they have not the know how I do not know. I wonder how the case is going with Amey and off topic how the Council farm enquiry is going. There is much going on at HC and not all good!

It makes me mad the people they are addressing probably have more sense than a lot of the people producing this crap. The biggest warnings that should go out are dogs and babies in cars and people deciding to take a swim in dodgy places. You get the same crap being dished out in the winter with photos of the elderly dressed in T shirts. I have been reasonably quiet about it but 3 weeks ago I broke my wrist so I have a plaster up to my elbow and must admit in this heat it feels like I have a hot water bottle permanently attached.
